(This was supposed to be posted in April and somehow I was unaware that it didn't get posted o_o; So please pretend that it was posted at the correct time...)

What's been going on over the past couple months?

♡ Worldista! I saw it on opening day in Shizuoka and then twice in Miyagi. It's not as good as Epcotia or Neverland in my opinion, but it's still quite good! My seats were fine in Shizuoka, but I was in the arena both days in Miyagi, so from my subjective standpoint I've certainly been enjoying it a lot XD; I'm seeing it again twice in Saitama and twice in Nagano (I hit for both the shows in Nagano, thank god, so I'm done buying tickets for this show), so hopefully I'll have good seats for those, too!

♡ I saw SixTONES in Yokohama, and it was a good show! I'm happy for them that they've been doing so well recently. Kouchi's Magical Song was really cute, and I also enjoyed Hokuto's artistic solo (though I'm honestly crushed that I missed him performing Ayame last year). I hope that they have more success from now on!

♡ I had a good Spring Break and am currently enjoying Golden Week! I ended up going out a lot during Spring Break and was pretty tired, so I'm enjoying mostly relaxing during Golden Week XD; I did hanami in Meguro during Spring Break, though, and saw all the paper lanterns for JUMP members! It's really fun that the trend of buying lanterns for your tan is spreading; I spotted 4 for Inochan!

♡ The season of Kaseifu no Mitazono with Inochan started! Inochan has been super cute. It's funny and easy to watch, so I'd definitely recommend checking it out!

♡ I saw the Shounentachi movie, and, despite that it was terrible, I really enjoyed it, lol. They adapted it a lot from the regular SixTONES and Snow Man version of the play (can't speak to older versions or Osaka versions since I haven't seen them), which made it a lot better, especially for the movie format, but the script, the filmography, and a lot of the acting was really just horrible. XD; Still, it was also really gay, so I mean, what else could you want. It had similar elements in terms of the gay aspects to Bakaleya, which was very cute and nostalgic, and Reia's role was extremely brief but also amazing, which I enjoyed a lot. XD All in all, if you want to see a good movie definitely don't go, but if you want to see a movie about Johnny's Juniors forming ~bonds of companionship and what have you, I recommend it XD;

Wow, where the heck did December go? And all of November, for that matter, lol. I just got back from JUMP in Tokyo Dome and I have to get to bed before heading to Osaka for NEWS tomorrow, so I'll post more in depth in the new year, but just to recap...

In November, I...
→ Spent most of my time with friends! I helped several friends clean their apartments, and went to Disney (which was actually October 30, but shh...) with a friend as well!

→ Saw JUMP in Big Hat in Nagoya, which is the first place I ever saw them, so that was nostalgic! Also we had arena seats, which were amazing

→ Continued to be obsessed with Shige's summer drama Zero Ikkaku Senkin Game.

→ Also celebrated Thanksgiving with friends, and had an early birthday party! I got the first two Junior Meikan that Shige was in and an adorable illustration of Inochan. ♥ Thank you!

In December, I...
→ Went to Osaka to see JUMP in Kyocera Dome on December 1 and 2! On December 1, they celebrated Chinen's birthday, and then on December 2, they did a really cute birthday surprise for Hikaru! December 2 is also my birthday, so I was very happy about that.

→ Made friends with a Japanese JUMP fan who I happened to be seated next to on the shinkansen back from Osaka!

→ Finished work in mid-December and have been enjoying my winter break!

→ Celebrated my birthday and Christmas in various ways at various times with various friends! Home-cooked Christmas food, KFC, and Outback were all delicious. XD;

→ Became mildly infatuated with Koseki Yuta, the actor who played Yuuki in Zero, and saw his goofy romance movie twice.

→ Watched Ooku for the first time! Nino is always a great actor, though I found his character a bit annoying (I mean, he was supposed to be 19...), and the sets and costumers were absolutely gorgeous! Okura was really pretty too, lol, which wasn't something I was expecting since, while I'm not too familiar with Kanjani8, I always saw him as more of a "handsome" guy. Also does Sasaki Kuranosuke play the exact same character in everything that he's in? XD; (As an aside, Koseki Yuta has an extremely tiny bit part in it, lol).

→ Saw JUMP again in Tokyo on the 28th, 29th, and 30th (today). Sense or Love isn't my favorite album or my favorite tour, but there have been some really good parts ♥

And that's about all! I hope that everyone is having a safe and happy holiday season! Happy New Year in advance, and I'll see everyone in 2019!

So much has happened since the last time I posted. I should have posted on Sunday or Monday after seeing the concert on Saturday, but it didn't happen. I have lots of things to say, but first and foremost...

Is anyone else watching Shige's drama?? I had a lot of mixed feelings about it at first just in terms of the quality of the show, but while it's still pretty goofy, I'm really, really enjoying it, and in particular, I'm totally in love with Seigi and Yuuki's characters right now (sorry Shige!). I'm tickled that they got a 5 episode arc about their character development, and I really, really enjoyed their interaction with each other and Zero in Episode 8. If anyone out there is watching, please drop me a line and let's discuss the show, because I'm really enjoying it and I want to know if anyone else is, too!

That said, other things that happened: I saw JUMP in Tokyo on Saturday! It was weird going back to the same complex as AjiSta again, but I was very glad I was going into the smaller venue. I never have a great impression of concerts the first time around, so I'll certainly have more to say later, but, can I just say, OH MY GOD INOCHAN'S SOLO. There aren't even words to describe how amazing it was. I don't want to post too many spoilers here since the tour just started, but let me just say that it was the sort of thing that I would never expect to be even allowed in Johnny's, not to mention done by my tan. I can't wait to see it again next weekend *__*

The other thing that happened is that I got a new phone! I finally swapped out my little SE (which had a horrible battery life at this point, among other problems) for a new iPhone 8! So far, I'm liking it a lot. The screen is so much bigger; I had been worried that my tiny hands wouldn't be able to type on the keyboard, but there's a setting that moves the keyboard from the center to either the right or left side to make it easier to type, which helps a lot. It's also fast, and the screen color and resolution is amazing. I haven't tried wireless charging yet, but I'm looking forward to trying that as well!

I haven't watched the most recent episodes of Inochan's drama because it comes on so late at night, but I have them recorded, and I'm looking forward to them! I was also extremely excited to see Inochan crossdress, and see his character turn dark. I enjoy that he always plays dark characters, ahaha. :3

That's about it for me. I'm headed to Miyagi this weekend to see a show on Saturday and Sunday each, so I'm looking forward to that. And of course, hopefully I'll be home in time catch Shige's drama on Sunday night!

Somehow, the entire duration of my trip got away from me-- perhaps because I hadn't had a chance to come back to my hometown last summer-- and now suddenly, I'm heading back to Tokyo today. I haven't checked my flist at all, which I know I should have and I hope to get to when I get home, but for now, I'll be basically unreachable for the next 24 hours. There was also some concerns about my flight due to weather, so that may end up unexpectedly extended >< Here's to hoping that everything goes according to schedule!

At any rate, my apologies for not dropping in sooner, and I'll be checking my messages and email again once I get home!

Happy new year, everyone! 今年もよろしくお願いします!

Drive by post to say:

♡ Congratulations JUMP on your first Kouhaku! They did a really good job with it ♥ They were also really cute in the background of various other numbers!

♡ Congratulations NEWS on entering your 15th anniversary year! You've worked so hard and come so far. I'm really looking forward to the tour!

♡ Congratulations KAT-TUN on your comeback!! I screamed so loudly when it was announced. I really had my fingers crossed for this Countdown, and I'm so happy my wish came true. I'm really looking forward to your future activities as 3!

I don't know what 2018 will bring, but just judging on tonight, I feel pretty darn hopeful for the first time in a while. ♥

I'm back for one last post in 2017! Hawaii was amazing and relaxing, and the JUMP concerts for the past two days were really wonderful. The show was the same as in Osaka, but our seats were much better for getting a good view, so I feel like I was able to enjoy it more as a whole even though I was in the arena in Osaka. I guess I sort of take spending the end of the year/beginning of the year with JUMP for granted at this point after 3 years of New Years shows and Johnny's Countdown before that, but I really feel grateful that I was able to spend their last concert in their anniversary year with them.

2017 has probably been my most tumultuous year in quite a while for a lot of reasons. The world is a shitty place, and for me personally, I dealt with friendship drama, moving house, and finding and starting a new job all basically at the same time. But at the same time, I feel like I've been able to overcome so much and grow as a person. I found a new apartment on my own in my non-native language for the first time, got a new job through my own effort and merits, made a lot of new friends for whom I'm extremely grateful, and of course, got to spend JUMP's tenth anniversary year celebrating with them at a record number (for me) of shows during their arena and dome tours. I'm ready to make 2018 a much less stressful and more productive year, but I also want to look back on the good things that happened in 2017.

I know that I don't hear much from most of my friends on LJ anymore, and that many people have moved on or have other priorities, but I wanted to thank everyone who's been here with and for me over the past year, and wish everyone a happy new year!

As it turns out, moving house to a different prefecture, starting a new job, and generally having your entire lifestyle change in a short period of time makes it really hard to stay on top of stuff like Livejournal. I don't know that anyone even reads here anymore, but I still want to keep posting if I can, so here's a brief update of what I've been doing for the past month or so.

→ Saw JUMP in Yokohama three times (once per day on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday). The first day was tachimi, which was painful but I survived, the second day was amazing seats quite close to the stage, and the third day was from the first row of the stands right behind the back stage, which was actually a pretty good view.

→ Was there for the the announcement of the dome tour! I almost started crying, I was so amazed. Three domes! I can't believe how far they've come since I became their fan more than six years ago.

→ I got to touch Hikaru and Chinen's hand on Sunday when they came down from the carts, but possibly more importantly, Inochan waved at me. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Inochan's concert demeanor, he just doesn't wave at people, basically ever. He sort of waves into the distance, but you have to be, idk, there at the right time, very close and in front of his face? for him to wave at you personally. And after six(ish) years of going to JUMP concerts, he finally waved AT ME! That basically was enough to make my entire life as a JUMP fan worth it.

→ I've been busy with work. Living in a major city, commuting by train, and learning a new job have all be pretty stressful, but maybe I'm starting to get a hang of things.

→ I saw Shige's play, The Green Mile, four times! He's really amazing, and I enjoyed the show a lot (despite it being kind of traumatizing, as anyone who has seen the movie or read the book can probably guess). I was lucky to be able to see it from fairly close three of the four times, so I also got to appreciate Shige himself. XD; He's so gorgeous!

I had to work last weekend and I have to work next weekend, so I'm trying to get in some time to rest and recuperate from a cold I've had recently and do more organizing. Maybe one day everything will have a home in my new apartment... But for now... as I always say... I'm going to try to update more and slack less. And for right now, I'll try to stay dry in this hurricane. XD;

Have a good weekend, everyone!

I kept meaning to post for the past two weeks, but I've been busy with work and life stuff, so... this is just a drive-by post to say that I'm headed to Yokohama to see JUMP this weekend, so I won't be around here! I'm going to try to update about my life and what have you when I get back (and hopefully after this tour is done, things will settle down a bit), but for right now, brb while I go to Yokohama!

If you email or PM me, I'll be able to check it but perhaps not respond, so my apologies! I'm really going to try to write reports of this tour as soon as possible... I'm sorry I'm like a year behind on reports. Moving and new job stuff is still exhausting, but... I'll do my best!

24 Hour TV

This weekend was stupidly busy, and I'm exhausted already on Monday afternoon, but it was also exciting! 24 hour TV started on Saturday, and I was excited to watch the drama since it was starring Kame and also had Shige in it, as well! Weirdly (since the 24 hour TV drama tends to be extremely emotionally charged?), it was more of a docu-drama about Aku Yu, a famous Japanese lyricist, and didn't have very much actual plot, but... I was fine with that XD; I don't really enjoy the normal genre of 24 hour TV dramas, so while this was sort of bland, I like non-fiction TV, and I enjoyed it. Sadly, Shige's part was way smaller than expected and he was only on screen a couple times, but he was suuuper cute the whole time! His hair was adorable. XD; So it could have been better, but... it definitely could have been worse. XD;

The Arashi ni Shiyagare special was amusing also, especially the "This is MJ" special with Kame, Koyama, Sho, and Ohno. XD; They were supposed to use a bar to swing in through a window over a locked door to save a damsel in distress, but after Koyama flailingly broke most of the door, Sho seemed to want to outdo the level of doM, and just ran straight through the door. XD;; It was so funny that all the female talents and athletes on the show, who were asked to vote, chose Sho as the winner! Playing on the common Japanese turn of phrase "to pass over a wall" meaning to overcome hardship, Sho joked, "There's no wall that I can't bust through!" XD;

I went to bed after the first segment on Shabekuri (where there was a strange segment about how Kame supposedly acts "gay" when drunk), which was already probably later than I should, because the next day I had a work commitment... but when I woke up, I put on the morning segments while I was getting ready XD; Koyama encouraging the high school girl who's aiming for the Paralympics was cute, and I was glad I caught NEWS singing U R not alone before I had to head out!

But then I had to head out to my new job's anniversary gala, which was as exciting as it seems XD But before this entry gets to long, I think I'll leave off and save the story of the gala for next time. XD; At any rate, I enjoyed 24 Hour TV this year... and I'm hoping that certain people host again next year XD;
