I'm alive and in Paris! So far, I've been here two full days just hanging out with my sister, but my parents arrive today, and then we're going to start doing touristy things, hooray! But as a laid back kind of person, I've been really enjoying just soaking up the atmosphere and the amazing food, omg. Bread and cheese forever.

I have some photos and stuff of my trip here and the Christmas market and what have you, but for now, I just wanted to drop by and say I'm alive!

Well, I survived the apocalypse! Or... something. I had to make my friends only post a sticky, at any rate. XD;

Since last time, not much in my life has changed, but fall semester (trimester?) has come to a close! Last Friday was the closing ceremony, so as of now, I've done one whole semester as an ALT! Crazy. It feels like it went by in the blink of an eye, and I can't believe that in one more semester, my kids will be graduating and changing grades and things... Some of them might even be going to private schools for middle school, in which case I will never, ever forgive them. |D;; But things have been really great, and I really feel like I'm settled into my job. More of my coworkers who don't often speak to me are at least saying good morning, so that's a plus!

On the fun front, the junior concert was two weekends ago! We had been somewhat in anxious anticipation before going, seeing as the magazines have recently been doing their best to break up the Bakaleya guys in magazine interviews, but the Bakaleya guys were definitely the most features and definitely featured as a unit. The high point was definitely Yugo getting his own solo! I was happy to see him getting the same amount of attention as might be expected... though of course, not as much as Hokuto or Jesse (who seems to be the next ~big thing besides Hokuto... idk how Johnny's makes these decisions, but those two are like, awkwardness compounded). All of them are so sweet and so hardworking though... they deserve a debut. Come on, Johnny! Do the right thing.

Now that the junior concert is done, I'm looking forward to the Sexy Zone news year's concert! That will be... after Elaine gets here! Yay! I'm also really excited to finally have my little sister visit me in Japan. I cleaned my whole apartment in preparation! And I can't wait to show her just how great Johnny's concerts are... |D;;;

But for now, it's Christmas! Tonight, yomimashou and I are going to eat leftovers from last night, when I made pasta salad and crackers with cheese and veggies and we got takeout chicken from Family Mart, a la Japanese tradition, and enjoy the four-hour Kayou Kyoku special. I go back to school in two days. *sigh* Today is my last day with yomimashou for a while ;_____; I'll miss you! And then, yesterday night I hung out with my high school friends, which was a lot of fun. I didn't realize how much I missed everyone! We need to do it more often.

As of right now, I'm stuck at home with the animals while my parents take my sister back to school... and I have to pack. Buh.

SO. Now that I'm back in the USSR home, I can finally post as I had intended/always do after Christmas.

It was nice, if bit rushed, since we had to go to the airport by 9 am on the 25th, but we always do Christmas on Christmas Eve, anyway, since it's a Scandinavian thing, and I'm Scandinasian. :3 And I got a good haul this year~ :3 The highlights of which being:
❄ The Ubran Decay Book of Shades Vol. II! I'm so freaking happy. I'm so in love with this thing. X3 We should have another model get-together type thing so I can do everyone's makeup again!
❄ A new iPod! I named him Kimeru and I'm going to get him a beautiful sparkly case or something of hat nature.
❄ A sweater dress which is warm and pretty.
❄ A new bathrobe so I won't be cold in my cement prison of a dorm
❄ An iTunes gift card so that I can buy Discover on iTunes!
❄ Quite a bit of money which is always appreciates

Well that certainly was a kick and a half. XD;;; This year was so, so different from last year, but it was good! Going back and looking at these old memes makes me laugh a little, but I'm really grateful and happy for all the great people who have made my life fun and wonderful for the past years. ♥

As for New Years' resolutions... Post to my LJ more! XD; Also, as was my resolution last year, lose weight. Though, since the gym is temporarily closed and I don't really have the time anymore, anyway, it will probably have to be more on the "eat right" front, since dining halls are the bane of my existence. *sigh*

Well, my sister is bringing her puppy home for good in the near future so... I better go steel myself @_____@;;;

Dress rehearsal and performance went off without a hitch! Everything went perfectly fine, and we actually had to start late because so many people were buying tickets at the door. Of course, certain *cough* people were "injured" and Elaine was bitchy when she was hungry and gave me that "I'm showing off because I know I'm better than you" look when she was next to the wing in Green Grove, but, really, generally, it was a good first show.

The program is lovely, and I got credit for the art, and, even more exciting, I got to be on headset for stage left! I'm "moving up in the word," as Header put it. It's really funny listening to the random conversation of the guys who do lighting and sound, and Sunch, of course.

I got my part of the econ project and the machi project out of the way for now... So I'm relatively stress-free for the duration of being at home. I get to watch the show tomorrow, and to eat some red meat, whooooo. I'm planning on trying to write some Dirty Pair tonight, but I realized that it's a lot harder for me to write when I'm at home because I end up getting distracted by the TV. XD;;

My email works again, in consolation. I'm starting to get better. My throat was un-hoarse enough that I could sing along with TeniMyu in the car on the way to the theatre. XD;

Me: Fye has a ponytail now :D

My sister: A what?

Me: A ponytail.

My sister: EW! Why does Kurogane even like him anymore?

XD;;; Nice. I guess having strong feelings about haircuts runs in the family. XD;;

I just listened to her CD again, and it was a bit sad, because, like three of the songs describe aspects of my life. XD; First of all, that 'Tomorrow' song always reminds me of S-chan, becuase....it does. And then the song after that...it's called 'anything but ordinary' or something, reminds me of me...because I want to be anything but ordinary. XD And sometimes, I do get so weird that I freak myself out. XD;;; *fail* Anyway...can't think of the third somg right now...but I'm such a loser. I'm probably never going to listen to that CD again...it's so freakin old! But Hiei-chan said she was going to do a lyrical dance about it or something. XD;;

Wow. That post was like "stream of consiousness." XD;

Today. I went to Hershey park. YAY.

Most of the day, my mind was either eaten by RoyEd RP thoughts (poor angsty Roy...XD) or general RoyEd sex thoughts. More on the sex side, though. xD; Ehehehehe.

Some things of noteworhtiness. (We= me and my sister)

We rode this rollercoaster where you "race" 3 times and our coaster (we switched green-red-green) won all three times. W00t.

On this other ride, the only cars on the track were 3, 5, 8, 9, and 10. And 10 totally doesn't count. xD

Every car we road in today was either 3, 5, 8, or 9. xD

While we were on any ride that involved getting pictures taken, we posed. We mostly saluted, but we also looked bored and thoughtful two times on the flume ride.

At the end, I road the merry-go-round. I chose a black horse (Mustang? xD) with a blue saddle thing and called it Roy. Yes. So I rode Roy. HOW WRONG DOES THAT SOUND XD But when I was looking for the best horse, I was like "Nuu, I want to ride a Mustang with black hair that goes up and down!" to which my sister died.

XD That's about it. Possibly more later, but right now, I need to go to bed.

SO HAPPY. AT PANERA WHERE THERE'S FREE WIFI!!

Hiei-chan and I were so bored yesterday that we filmed ourselves performing the song RENT. Not singing. Performing. Yes. We're idiots. XD;; We each played 3 people, and changed clothes and everything. It's amazing. XD;;;;

And...in other news...I died and fell to the dark side of a certain pairing...T^T S-chan, please don't hate me.

Woot. Got up at 5 this morning for an 8:30 flight...so I'm a little tired. XD Sacchi-chan and Ecoko-imouto rode in a new bag that fits both of them, though! XD And on the way to the airport, Hiei-chan and I had an interesting conversation. This one excerpt basicly says it all.

Me: I bet without suspenders, Russel couldn't keep his pants on.
Hiei-chan: Especially when his little brother was around.

XD; So. Yes, I've decided that I believe in Tringhamcest, sadly enough. Not saying that I'm going to fangirl it or anything, but it's definitely there. So shoot me. -_-;;

On the plane, Hiei-chan and I talked some more, mostly making fun of that AARP ad ("Larry, we need more life insurance!") and talking about Tringhamcest and Russel's suspenders and Fletcher's headband and how Russel is Al's age but looks older than Al does in Conqueror of Shamballa, where Al is supposed to be even older, I think. (Right? Isn't Al older in Conqueror of Shamballa? Or is he like 12? I haven't seen it.) Then, I went to sleep on Puffy Baggy, a Fom ripoff (You know, those foamy pillows that are really comfortable?), which was really comfortable.

After we got off the plane, we got a nice big rental car and drove to my Grandparents' house while Hiei-chan and I did our rendition of Britney Spears, the Backstreet Boys, and Green Day. Then, we got here and ate and played monopoly and I tried to use this super slow dial up which sucks majorly. And that's about all.

Um, and RP. Yay. Both RoyEd and Tringhamcest have eaten my head, and I'm not overly please about the latter. Someone help. XD;;

Lastly, I need to make myself new icons. Buh. I can't do it here, though, because I can't transfer from here to Sacchi-chan, where I have Photoshop. Oh well.
