I'm back from Yokohama and so sad that the tour is possibly done for me ;___; The shows were amazing, the guys were amazing, the new song is amazing, and the fact that I got to be there when they announced that they're doing Tokyo Dome on New Year's was amazing, too. I feel so lucky to have been able to see the show 6 times so far, and I really hope that I'm able to see one more in Nagoya, and also in Tokyo Dome at the end/beginning of the year.

I feel so happy recently to be a Tobikko, which, considering how stressful it was for JUMP and their fans from about 2011 to 2012, is a pretty amazing and wonderful feeling. The guys themselves have grown up so much, and all work so hard and work through their differences and work together well to make JUMP amazing, and the group has come together so much over the past nine years. Each member contributes something unique to the group, and even if there are nine of them, which is a lot, they still fit together just right to make the group what it is.

I'm going to try to get my reports... from August, and also October... done soon, though work is a bit busy and stressful, but for now, I'm just basking in the feeling of how great JUMP is. I hope they're taking a well-deserved rest today, and that they know just how much they mean to their fans. ♥

[Edit] It feels a bit crass to mention this at the end of my post full of feelings somehow, but I forgot to mention that Yamada saw me and did fanservice for me on Saturday and Monday. Keito also saw me both days and waved. Inochan didn't see me, but I'm pretty happy anyway |D;

Yeah, sadly even when I was in the arena, he doesn't usually look down at the close fans, only out into the crowd (which is kind of him, because I got to see a lot of people close up, so it's nice that he waves at the people farther away!) But Yamada looked happy to see foreign fans, and pointed at me the day I was in the area with a really cute finger wiggle type thing (that's a bad description, I'm sorry |D), and when I was in the upper stands and he came up in the cart, it seemed like he recognized me, and did a peace sign to me since that's what was written as a request on my uchiwa! I feel really lucky ♥

oh, yes, that's really kind of him. and ryosuke! omg. haha I think a lot of them are still not convinced that they have foreign fans. haha you're all so lucky! please don't get me wrong with this: I feel envious of foreign fans who get to see them. because if I ever get a chance to see them live, they won't pay much attention to me because I'm asian and they'll probably think I'm local. XD haha anyway, do take your time, don't rush. I'll wait for your post. :D

Yes, Inochan is really kind to his fans ♥ And Yamada is too, in another way!

But I'm Asian too (half Chinese), and I don't think the guys ever "don't pay much attention" to their fans no matter what they look like; in the MC they often talk about clothes that girls are wearing, and the fans' hairstyles and makeup, so I'm pretty sure they get a good look at many of their fans and care about all of them, not just the foreign-looking ones. They love and care about their fans! Also, I know the guys and Japanese people in general are very good at picking out foreign people based on the way they dress and act (for example, Chinese culture and Japanese culture are really different in a lot of ways even though they can facially look quite similar), so it's not always true to assume you'll blend in just because you're Asian. And of course, there are a lot of bad sides to being foreign in Japan, as well, so I don't think it's anything to be envious over. So I understand what you mean, but it's a pretty complicated issue, in my opinion!

oops, sorry. I don't mean it like that. I just mean foreign fans stand out a lot, and the fact that they still don't believe they're big overseas. XD and they do have a very good observational skills, if they can pick out a foreign asian fan by the way she dresses. XD anyway, I'm sorry if that sounded rude, me being envious. I know there's still a lot of issues about being foreign in Japan. I'm really sorry.

No worries, I just think it's a very complicated issue, and it's important to me, since I'm foreign living in Japan! But I didn't think you were being rude, so please don't worry. ^_^ It's true that I want them to know they have a lot of foreign fans, too!

I'm hoping Johnny-san would be more considerate of foreign fans and actually distribute his idols' goods and make them do concerts overseas, too. well, yamapi/hsj already did those before, maybe he wasn't satisfied on how they turned out?

Lots of Johnny's groups do Asia tours or concerts; Arashi, Tackey, NEWS, and KAT-TUN have also done them, just to name a few. However, Johnny's aesthetic isn't very popular outside of Asia; there's no way they could do well or make money in Europe or America without completely changing the sound of their music and the way they perform, so I think they basically don't plan to expand outside Asia because it wouldn't make them any money. Additionally, even just to sells their CDs and DVDs to a mass market in Asian countries, they would need to pay for copyrights in those countries and also translate the written parts into other languages and add subtitles to the videos, which would also cost a lot of money. So I think they probably don't target a foreign audience because it would be really expensive and not necessarily make them more money than they're making in Japan, sadly. :(

that's true. it's sad. there's just no profit from it, so why bother? I think that's the reason why most Johnny's fans try to move and work in Japan. :D I didn't know that Tackey, Arashi, KATTUN, and NEWS also did as Asian tour? I know Arashi held a concert in Hawaii. that was already huge.

I'm not an expert about any of these groups, but just what I can remember offhand: Tackey performed at a variety of music events abroad around 2003-2004 (you can see footage of it in the episodes of Ya-ya-yah) and recently performed Takizawa Kabuki 2015 in Singapore, Arashi had their Arashi Around Asia tour in 2008, NEWS's first concert after their debut was announced in 2003 was in Taiwan (there's footage of it on Ya-ya-yah and their "News Nippon" documentary DVD), and KAT-TUN had an Asia tour in 2010 (as well as following Tackey abroad as juniors in 2003-2004).

But yeah, it's hard being a fan abroad. Still, at least CD Japan and those sort of websites sell their CDs and DVDs internationally. ^^;

I think I remember that KAT-TUN asia tour. XD I'm not a good fan, I used to follow them around 2010 but I just can't recall the asia tour. XD thanks for the information again!

The tour was so great ;~~~; I really hope we can manage to go again, and I'm so happy we got to be there for the new years announcement!!

The guys are so wonderful, and such an amazing group and ugh it's just so great seeing them all together ;~~;

It really was. Every show was amazing, and I wish we could see it again in YokoAri ;__; They was just so wonderful and I'm so happy for them that they're doing so well.
