Last of the Valentine's Day chocolates!

faded_laceThis is quite late, but on the last day of February, I gave out the last of my Valentine's Day chocolates to the other ALTs (foreign English teachers) in my city. We have a meeting once a month, so even though it was long after Valentine's day, it was my only chance to give them out. These ones were matcha and dark chocolate or almond milk chocolate and white chocolate tarts!
The finished products! They came out kind of janky, but they looked okay.
For some reason recently when I make matcha chocolate, it turns out with this weird marbled texture and I have no idea why. They taste normal, they just look weird, which is annoying, but it could be worse, I guess.
At least they didn't look too horrible, and from what I hear, they tasted pretty good…!

All in all, my life hasn't been super exciting. It's that stressful, wrapping-up time of year, but last weekend we took a break and did a bunch of shopping in Tokyo, as well as spending time with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
ltgmars, which was super fun! Also, perhaps the insanity pushed me over the edge but I've fallen face-first into a crazy new ship and am knee-deep in the process of discussing it from every angle with my friends… undoubtedly it will leak into my LJ eventually, but for the time being, I'm too embarrassed, so I'll leave it at that. |D;
