So, I wonder, does anyone know/wonder where I get my LJ and fanfiction username from? No one probably cares...XD;

Let's see...I know where wearenotaskitz comes from, as well as chiachiaamichan and vink_sama. I don't think ironprominent will tell me (I believe I asked once).

So, in case you were wondering, this is where I get my name.

faded lace

dull sequins

wilting flowers.

roses

ribbons
and
combs
and
crowns.
Happiness is not
pretty,
and
Happiness is not
beatuiful,
and
Happiness is not
sweet-smelling
or
soft-to-the-touch
or
aestheitcally-pleasing.
Happiness is not
found in the wardrobe room.

So...it's kind of a lame poem that I wrote a while back...in case you can't tell, I'm trying to say that costumes shouldn't be what you dance for. Of course, I love costumes to death. ^^;;; Maybe that's why I chose faded_lace as my name? That and it sounds emo. XD;;

Anyway, no one probably cares. XD;;


The other day, my little sister tried to convince me that there were carriages, not cars, in FMA. WTF @ her.

Actually, I have always kind of wondered where your username came from...but I never bothered to ask.

And I kind of like the poem... It strikes me as not really being about dance, but about life in general... *shrugs* I don't know if you meant it that way or not. XD

Yay! I like the poem, and I agree that it sounds like it could be applied to lost of things and not just dance. Additionally, I think faded_lace sounds like a really pretty user name, and not emo, really, at all. :D

I loved the poem! Much better than any of my efforts. The last line just capped it off picture-perfectly.
