Birthday cake!

Just a quick drive by post because I need to get to bed, but here's a few photos of what I did today ♥


I finally celebrated Inochan's birthday properly!


I never know what to do about candles, but at the cake place they suggest two long ones and five short ones, so I did that XD; It looks stupid, but oh well.


It's not much, but… happy birthday! ♥

In other news, my CDs are in transit. >__< Dammit, Amazon. I should get them tomorrow, but I won't have a chance to watch them before Waku Waku since I'm going out of town after work on Friday and I have to pack tomorrow night and all that. Well, more to look forward to, I guess.

That cake looks mighty fine! :) The candles are ok, and mostly it's about the cake itself (and its taste) anyway, right? ^^

Aaah, I understand you. I'm awaiting a CD delivery too... pretty likely it's made its way over here already, and got stuck in the currently ongoing strike of post officers in some regions. darn it. xD

Yeah, getting CDs internationally is definitely rough. Most people I know in Japan get their CDs on release day, or even a day early, but for some reason mine always come a day late, so that's why I'm frustrated, but I definitely know it's worse when you're overseas XD

And yeah, it definitely can take its sweet time for stuff to arrive here, what makes the current case really annoying is that I'm totally sure it's already here in the country and just not arriving yet cause the post officers are refusing to do their job. Sure, I can understamd them wanting better payment, but... IMA WANT MY CD, you know XD

My mom who grew up in the former GDR always compares me getting packages from Japan to her getting packages from the west - it's special stuff you can't get here, takes a long time to arrive, can't be accessed at any time, but when it's finally there it's all the more special :)
