Sheesh, everything went crazy while I was away for the weekend.
About the Sexy Zone news,
snow kindly already translated the Oricon article, and since we have no news from the agency, I'm not going to comment on it as of right now. As soon as the agency releases information on it, I'll translate it and post it here.
Setting the bad aside, this weekend was amazing. JUMP was really amazing, and seeing them twice in one day was amazing, too. That group has really come so far in such a short time… things were so bad this time two years ago, and yet now, they're all so even, and all get so much stage time, and they just all seem so happy together, and to genuinely love and respect one another. I'm going to write a full report for both shows, but for now… they were really amazing, all nine of them, and the show really showed how much they've grown in the past two years.
Also, I'll talk more about the guys who came to watch later, but one exciting thing that happened that wasn't really relevant to the show is that I walked behind Nagata Jiei and 3 other random juniors that I didn't recognize from about halfway between the venue and the station until we got to the station. XD The guys just sort of sauntered up from the direction of the venue; there's an above-ground walkway and then the ground level regular sidwalks. Mostly, fans use the above-ground walkway, so the boys met up with us in the crowd right as we walked off the walkway. I couldn't tell who they were from behind right away, but eventually, I caught a glance of Nagata's face and I knew it was them. I don't really know who they are, but it was still exciting. XD;
I'll get to more later, but right now, I have to be at work bright and early tomorrow, typhoon or no, so good night!

Date: 2014-10-14 12:18 am (UTC)Yeah, it was pretty silly, but we were excited |D; I was like, breathing the same air as juniors! But yeah, I don't know about the kids performing, but since these guys were just audience members, especially, they left and took the train. When more famous talents are there, like members of other groups who are too young to drive, they often wait for all the girls to leave the area before taking the train home.

Date: 2014-10-14 01:21 am (UTC)what about "demachi"? when do they do those? i only learned about that from Hakucchan and one of my friends from Japan on twitter that you can directly hand them letters and stuff during "demachi". does JUMP do that?

Date: 2014-10-14 02:01 am (UTC)Demachi is strictly a theatre-only event. The rules of demachi completely prohibit writing about demachi on the internet, but just to talk about it vaguely, after theatre shows (so basically limited to venues like Teikoku Gekijou, Nissay Gekijou, Aoyama Gekijou, Theater Crea, and those types of places), girls line up, and each line has different rules, but basically the designated leaders of the line uphold the rules. If you watched the documentary "top of the J-pops," which aired in other countries besides Japan, demachi is NOTHING like that. That was completely staged for the camera and is nothing like what demachi is in real life. If you have questions about demachi, I'd be happy to answer by PM, but since it's really against the rules I don't want to write more here. Sorry!

Date: 2014-10-13 08:16 pm (UTC)To answer your reply to my other comment: Yes! I had a wonderful time. There was a lot of tragedy for me surrounding this concert (not going to bore you with details, it's a bit personal anyway) but Jump are honestly the best thing to have happened to me; getting to see them working so hard and actually having it pay off- that was amazing. I mean I saw Live With Me, too, but Yokohama is so much smaller it's a different feeling.
We had center (!) seats for the first Monday show (I hit for them!!!) and Yamada saw my friend and I and smiled at us. HE IS AN ANGEL. More than that. I don't know. I felt like something amazing and pure and like.. better than life had just looked at me. XD I always say Yamada is the perfect person but he really is. He just really is.
I was a bit disappointed that all 3 shows we went to, during Yes, when they're doing the hip rolls on stage, that the cameras weren't set up to show all of them. They had 3 slots on the screen... but showed Yamada on all of them. Of course I was looking at him anyway (niban) but Takaki is REALLY good at that sexy guy stuff.
Come Back was my favorite performance, I think, but... School Girl and Oh! Idol and Super Super Night and Forever and and and.. everything. o_o just everything.
Sorry for the novel. XD; I started getting sick (long time coming, am a kindergarten teacher now =_=) during the last show and woke up an hour ago with a fever so I may be a bit delusional right now. XD

Date: 2014-10-14 12:43 am (UTC)I'm really sorry that bad things happened for you, but I'm glad that JUMP could at least make you feel a little better. I have a lot of trouble enjoying concerts in Tokyo Dome except from certain seats, so I actually didn't get that into Live with Me, but this concert was really amazing.
That's awesome! We had center for the first show, and then A-block right in front of one of the side stages 15 rows back for the second, so it was actually a perfect overall view. Both of them were tickets my friend and I hit for, so we were incredibly lucky too! And Yamada saw me too, actually. He's such a sweet guy. He just works so hard to make everything perfect for the fans. I went through a really rough patch with him about two years ago that lasted about a year, for a variety of reasons, but I love him so much now. He's grown up so much and he's such a wonderful person.
That's annoying >__< in my opinion Takaki has a nicer body than Yamada (me personally, not trying to put down Yamada or anything), anyway, so the world deserves to see it :x
omg School Girl and Oh! Idol were amazing. Super Super Night just killed me |D;;; And I really enjoyed Yes! too, and Super Delicate, and Ride with Me, and Kamona… and… everything XD;;; Yes. It was a really good performance!
No, don't be sorry XD I love this stuff. I hope you feel better though D: Teaching little kids is the germiest >__<
