faded_laceI'm back and I survived my parents' visit! I'll post photos from Tokyo and stuff later, but for right now, I'm just about ready to collapse, so I don't have the energy to write much. |D;; I probably missed something while I was away (I was checking LJ on my smartphone, but it wasn't exactly the most thorough way to stay up to date), so if I missed something I should be seeing or commenting on, please point me in the right direction!
BUT! I also wanted to drop in and comment on Shounen Club from this week! Talk about big changes!! Yeah yeah yeah, I know the MCs changed and Johnny's West became regular members, but what I'm talking about is the change in juniordom. First of all… Sexy Boyz were in B.I.Shadow's old costumes??? I nearly spit my drink across the room when I recognized them. Talk about craziness. It was a bit upsetting and more than a bit unreal, to be frank, because especially in that last number they did before the finale, their choreography and movement was EXACTLY like B.I.Shadow. I could almost see their little faces instead of Sexy Boyz's, and it was… pretty weird. But this pretty much makes it legit-- putting them in B.I.Shadow's old costumes is a clear indication that they're the next doomed 4-member group. Of course, it is a bit odd that Kishi has been absent so much, but I assume his various replacements are just replacements because he has school obligations or something. Though it doesn't really matter, because in my opinion, his position is doomed anyway. Jinguji and Genki are the clear Yabu/Hikaru or Fuma/Kento of this group.
And Reia! REIA!! He got featured in a talk section!!! For the first time since he was a baby in Snow Prince Gasshoudan?? He was clearly nervous, which was adorable, but totally unnecessary, because he's perfect in every way. ♥ He totally shone, and I'm glad he finally got a chance to be featured! (That whole section was priceless honestly; Kento and Shori's loveydoveyness, Jinguji's awkward crush on Shori continues, Genki is uncomfortable, etc XD) Also, I'm really hoping he gets called on for Jr. ni Q, because his card about his name said "Gender doesn't matter!" on it, ahaha. Though I'm really perplexed that Masuda Ryo gave up on "Shany" already. WHY DID YOU CHANGE NAMES FOR ONLY TWO MONTHS?
Other than that, I'm being annoyed by the J's Party 3 situation (Reia, Kishi, Amu, Gengen confirmed for attendance, tickets super cheap on resale, and I can't go because it's on a work night), excitedly waiting for Gamushara to start, contemplating how much I'm going to drop on Crea in resale, and trying not to stress over the start of the new school year! On the bright side, I finally have a glorious full weekend to sleep in and be productive in a not-work-related sort of way, so I'm looking forward to that!

Date: 2014-04-05 04:17 am (UTC)Yeah, that was adorable XD My kids sometimes do that, trying to translate "○○-sensei" as "○○-teacher" XD Kento and Shori were just the cutest there, the way they kept looking at one another and joking and giggling and stuff. ^o^ But yes, Reia and Genki ♥ They were really cute, and I'm glad they got a chance to shine.
