So, this afternoon, I went out to H-mart, an Asian (mostly Korean?) grocery store in Philly, which was beautiful. I'm still stuffed with chicken katsu and sushi and I got some gummies, strawberry daifuku, and wasabi peas :D Now to not spend money ever again. XD;;;

In other news, I cannot stop listening to Arashi music. @____@ This is bad... I don't want to be a Johnny's girl! But it's just so catchy... and there's nothing wrong with indulging in a little boybandy music. I just can't let myself get sucked into the scary-ass fandom that is Johnny's fandom in general just like I wasn't going to let myself get sucked into RPS. That being said, I discovered that Ohno (lead singer of Arashi) 1) got auditioned for Johnny's without his knowing it by his mother and 2) wanted to quit and was asked as a last favour by Johnny Kitagawa to help him by coming with him to Hawaii... where he announced the formation of Arashi. So basically... Johnny's is SCARY LIEK WOAH. I mean, sure, Ohno is ridiculously famous and wealthy now, but it really sucks if he wanted to quit and now can't walk through Tokyo without seeing his face plastered somewhere. o____O;;;

Also unfair since Mizuki is still trying and failing... :P

I know what you mean about Arashi. XD When I was in Japan the last time, I listened to one of their CDs on a whim while in Tower Records and ended up liking it. And then I felt like I shouldn't like it because it's Johnny's and that fandom is scary. ...But I bought it anyway. XD;; And I'd be more than happy to share it with you if you'd like! It's their "All the Best 1999-2009" album. But I steadfastly refuse to go anywhere near the fandom lest I get sucked in.

Also also, I'm making chicken katsu curry with some Coco's packets for dinner and am super excited about it~ It's never quite the same as the real thing though. How I miss it. ;__;

But yeah, I feel somehow dirty liking their music... XD;;; Johnny's gives me the heeby-jeebies in general, especially since Johnny himself is a total pedo, but Arashi is just SO CATCHY. I've listened to Troublemaker 41 times and I got the track less than 48 hours ago. XD; And somehow I've gotten attached to Ohno. >___>;; But yeah, Johnny's fandom is horrifying, even if I like the music/show some interest in the members...

;____; Cocos, want. I miss it too... I almost cried eating the katsu today at the store.

(Mizuki is my only Johnny's icon XD;;;;)

No problem! I already had them on my computer, so I figured I might as well share them! Their songs are so catchy, you can't help but like them. XD (My personal favorite is 5x10). I don't think I've heard Troublemaker. I don't really go seeking their music. I just happened to come across this CD and whatever other new single they had out at the time, I think. XD;;

DDDDD: THAT OHNO STORY. WHAT. Good LORD o___o

Johnnyssssss why are you at once so catchy and SO CREEPY. It's not even the boys' fault, but gosh. I mean, it's kind of sad that guys want to be a part of that legacy just because it's a quick trip to fame and fortune (though at least the dude himself is not as directly involved anymore, right??)

I KNOW, RIGHT? DDDD: Not only did he get forced into something he really didn't want to do, but HE GOT TAKEN TO HAWAII BY JOHNNY HIMSELF. He's such a pedo, god @____@ Poor Ohno.

Right? It really isn't the boys' faults, but it sucks that they have to go through all that to get anywhere in the industry, since Johnny's basically has a monopoly. And yeah, it's his daughter now running the company, not him, so hopefully she's not a pedo, too. @____@
