It's kind of a bummer that I'm going to have to come back to campus for printmaking over break though.

In other news, I'm sleepy. Dammit,

Actually, I was trying to avoid talking to you about it because I don't agree with you and I don't want to upset anyone. XD; I love first cast and I like fifth cast very much, and I'm happy to see them on stage together. I don't think fifth cast will be slighted for first cast being there, because the fifth cast fangirls won't love fifth cast less for first cast being there, and even if fangirls come only for first cast, there's more people seeing fifth cast and who might give them a chance and support them later down the road in whatever they move on to. I don't think they'd give first cast any of the songs that "belong to 5th cast" (mainly their ballad, because that's the only thing I really feel "belongs" to a cast), especially seeing as they're listed as guests, and if anyone has had "their" songs infringed on, it would be first cast, considering they're been around the longest to have people redo their songs. Practically every Golden Pair has done some incarnate of "Golden Pair" or "Depend on Me" and in DL6, fourth cast sang NOW & FOREVER which was first cast's ballad, which, honestly, seemed a little off to me. I don't mind anyone singing anyone else's songs, though, and because there are going to be a lot of people that I like on stage, I'm excited and not feeling particularly spiteful towards anyone in any direction

I know you don't agree with me, and that's fine. XD; I honestly didn't want to upset you or anything like that, hence my not commenting on your entries. That's just my opinion, and to each their own, right? ^^;

Actually, what I'm mostly upset about are:
[1] the presence of two casts. I've always had a problem with double-casting and will always have a problem with it, and even if this is just a guesting thing, the point is IT'S STILL DOUBLE-CAST. If it was 4thCast coming back, and you know 4thCast is my ultimate favorite, I'd be reacting the same way. Okay, maybe less violently. But the thought would still be there! Point is, this is 5thCast's graduation. Let THEM end the show. By THEMSELVES. I may not love them collectively as a cast *is selective*, but I still think this is unfair to them. I'm upset because for both of my favorite casts, so much was taken from them: 3rdCast by having Hyoutei in their first myu and then doing THREE myus with Rikkai, and 4thCast by having Rikkai in their first myu, less than half the time of DL5th, a myu with Hyoutei, and then being double-cast. And I was hoping that with 5thCast getting two storyline myus to themselves *INSERT BITTERNESS HERE*, when DL7th rolled around they'd get all the attention that 4thCast never fully got ~~because of them~~. So. :(

Yeah, I was a little wtf about Now and Forever going to fourth cast at their graduation, but I mean, it wasn't the end of the world, and in the same right, if first cast sings, I don't know, some song with fifth cast (which I doubt would be their ballad because they're just getting it now, aren't they?) I also don't think it would be the end of the world.

I see what you mean about double-casting, and understand that, but I don't think people loved third cast less for Hyoutei and Rikkai, or fourth cast less for Rikkai or fifth cast. Honestly, I cried just as much when fourth cast graduated as I would have if fifth cast wasn't there, and I was just as moved. I still cry when I listen to the CD of DL6. I don't feel like any of these people are robbing people of the spotlight, and while double casting is a bummer, these musicals couldn't happen without the rival teams as well. If anything, I'd think Rokkaku fans should be miffed that Hyoutei got to be in their myu and Higa fans should be miffed that Rikkai got to be in their myu. But I don't honestly feel that any Seigaku suffered from the presence of another Seigaku. But again, to each their own, and I'm not going to say that either of us are wrong or right on a matter of personal feelings. ^^;;

As to the fans... well, fandom will be fandom :|

5thCast already has their ballad -- they performed it at the Sendai senshuuraku, maybe they sang it at all other prefecture senshuuraku performance, IDK. According to reports it's different from all the other Seigaku ballads, there are no solo lines this time around. ~~AND THERE WAS ALSO OISHI/FUJI MOMENT IN THE CHOREOGRAPHY AND WHILE I AM ICKED AT THE IDEA OF TSUJI/TAITO, THE POINT IS IT IS STILL OISHI/FUJI. WATCH ME FANGASM.~~

Rokkaku fans should be miffed that Hyoutei got to be in their myu

And I totally didn't mean to lump all fans together in that previous comment. Actually, I'm just really pissed at one fan in particular and the others I'm annoyed at, it's all out of association with her XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

That I understand a little more. (I hate Rokakku, so I didn't care, but I understand either way XD) But I don't think they took away from Seigaku at all.

AFAIK nobody on LJ's really written any senshuuraku reports? I just read it on Japanese blogs and from an American friend of mine who saw the last three Sendai shows and emailed me right after curtain on the senshuuraku. So nobody really knows that 5thCast already has their ballad ^^;

(Or, to be more accurate, I am a huge fan of Irei and Saeki, and by association Rokkaku. Yeah, I suck XD)

I'd actually argue that being with Hyoutei and Rikkai helped 3rd and 4th cast, not hindered them. It got people watching them that would have normally not cared so much. ~~Like me who has only seen pieces of ShitenMyu, doesn't even care about the new RikkaiMyus, and only saw HigaMyu just a few days before DL5th. >.>;~~ But even being a huge Hyoutei fan, I loved 3rd cast in their own right 'cause they deserved the attention they got from me.

Well, as much as I love second cast, seeing first cast will still be exciting, I think. Plus, a lot of boys that I love (Nagayan, Kimeru, Tuti, MoriEiji, Yanagi) are in first cast.

That's some shit. They should bring them both back. I mean, Yanagi graduated with 2nd cast. I know he was originally 1st, but damn, I miss Endo. I get what you mean about him deserving it though. I really can't wait to see it. TAKIEIJI!!! YAY!!!!

I feel like they would have gotten him back if they could? He's probably busy being the Grand Pimp Master of the D-Boys or whatever he does. XD; The thing is, Endo and Yanagi are both really between casts, and neither of them is officially "first" or "second." I just feel like Yanagi deserves another moment to shine for all of the ones that were taken away from him. And I don't get your love of TakiEiji, but I'm glad for you XD;

Woah, that was an intense response there. XD; Um, sorry? I just don't think he's a particularly good singer, though he was better than Kengo. Again, I don't have the first cast nostalgia as much since they weren't my first cast. XD; Shirota was my first Tezuka, so I was spoiled.

Mmmm Shirota. And no, TakiEiji's not the best singer, but he makes a pretty convincing Tezuka. Shirota spoiled me too. He's my litmus. I was hovering between him and Daisuke there for a bit then I randomly got smacked in the face with some Shirota-thing and I'm all flaily over him again.

Daisuke, was, in my opinion, the best Tezuka. If I picture Tezuka as an actor, it's Daisuke. Shirota is amazing and will always be Shirota to me, not Tezuka (which is why your new icons in LC, as pretty as they are, are throwing me off. XD;;;) Kind of like Tuti will always be Tuti to me, and not Oishi. XD;;

I used Shirota the last time I was a Tezuka in an RP. Plus, like you said, pretty icons are pretty. As good as Daisuke is, for me, he's not my Tezuka. Though, he can pull off the hair like nobody's business. I am impressed with the way it fluffs.

I think everyone is like that though. We each have specific actors whom we think are the epitome of that specific character. Like, Araki is my Inui, but I love Aoyama soooo much, but he just can't pull off the creepy/hilarity that is Inui as well as Araki can.
