I think livejournal has spoilt me, as much as that's a really ridiculous statement.

I mean, really, usually I think "There's so much wank and so many pairing wars and so much angst all the time, and it's really hard to find quality fic and fandom things because you have to pick through all the crap, and people are usually really stupid and pick fights over the stupidest things" but then, every once in a while, I venture outside of livejournal.

And I am reminded just how wonderful livejournal is.

I know there's plenty of quality things on ff.net. I have nothing against people who use it. But hot damn is there a lot of bad writing there, too. And a lot of the random forums I come across in google searches just make me rofl.

Right now, I'm reading the forums on mangafox. I really had no idea there were so many Ryoma/Sakuno shippers in the world. o____O; It's a little terrifying... and there seems to be a direct correlation between shipping Ryoma/Sakuno and not being able to use the English language (spelling, punctuation, grammar) properly. I especially love the posts where someone's like "SOME PEOPLE THINK THERE'S YAOI IN PRINCE OF TENNIS OH GOD" and everyone comments like "AUGGGGGH HOW COULD YOU EVER SAY SOMETHING LIKE THAT?!" I wonder why it is that forums like that like. Attract poor grammar and capslock-philes.

It's bad that I just keep reading for the lols, though. |D;;;

[EDIT] Someone claims that "Konomi himself is a RyuSaku fan"... and of course, when I come across this sort of claim, I have to try to verify. With google, I found nothing. Does anyone have like, any indication of this? XD; Because, seriously, from what I've seen of Konomi, like... not so much.
