faded_laceSo, episode 71 was just so awesome it got its VERY OWN CAPS POST. Yes, folks, you heard me right. This is a Special Edition Caps Post! In which I retell the absolute gayety that is Episode 71. So, if you really don't want to be spoiled, don't read... but you're missing out. XD;

EPISODE 71 SPECIAL EDITION CAPS POST
Rating: PG-13
Warnings: Mentions of BL, incest, sex, etc. But if you can't handle those, why are you watching TeniPuri? Also, language.
Ryoma is hard to please in bed. Either that, you know, or Momo wants to bring him along to meet An.
Ryoma doesn't want to.
Buuuut he does end up getting dragged along, and Inui overhears An mention a date, and so he calls all the other Seigaku Regulars and they stalk them!
However, some people are misled as to the intention of the meeting. Kawamura has the right idea.
Oishi has a message for you children: Violence is bad.
However, all of my respect for him went out the window again. XD;; He looks like he's trying to be Atobe and failing... I think Oishi is a fail!fanfic author and cosplayer. XD;;;
Aww, they love their Oishi-mama.
Tez does nothing in this episode except be a fruit. No, really. Look at that lavender shirt and how he's like, tea-ing. Later, he's feeding koi. GAY.
Gakuto and Oshitari (top left) were making out until just before this picture was taken... check out how Oshitari's hips are still attracted to Gakutos by magnetism. Also, Gakuto refuses to wear pants. Apparently. (And An found this terrifying...?)
Looks like Ryoma did come, after all. (The long and short of it is, An drags Ryoma and Momo to the street courts to piss off the other people there. She is succeeding.)
Shinji wants to touch Ryoma's handle.
Ryoma is fine with this, apparently.
St. Rudy, looking tres chic as always. Yanagizawa's clothes... I just have no comment. XD;;; Yuuta and Mizuki are just being Yuuta and Mizuki, but wtf @ Ducky.

Inui calls Kaidoh and says "It's a date." Kaidoh is confused and thinks Inui is asking him out.
He has a quick fantasy about Inui...
And about Inui on a date with some chick...
...which becomes a fantasy about Inui on a date with him...
He then proceeds to get very confused.
After calling Inui back to see if it really is a date, Inui asks if he was surprised before Kaidoh's phone runs out of battery.
Kaidoh spends the rest of the episode debating if he should date Inui or not. I kid you not. The above, I find, is kind of not the best reason for dating someone, but... yes. He keeps changing his mind. XD; But eventually, fyi, he does make it to the street courts-- he was going to say yes~
Back at the street courts, Mizuki continues to be ignored. NO SRSLY GAIZ WHERE DID HE GET THAT SHIRT.
And, of course, as if we already didn't have a recipe for disaster... let's add pretty and preppy and gay Fuji, sporting lovely tennis getup. He makes Mizuki look masculine.
What? A love triangle between Momo, An, and Ryoma? But there will be FOUR people with Ryoma in it.
Why do I get the urge to break out into, like, "yonin de doubles"...?
Remember how I posted in a caps post a while back a face Fuji made that I thought was terrifying? THIS IS MORE TERRIFYING.
Of course, once Fuji shows up, Mizuki has bigger fish to fry than Tez... He want to "play a game" with Fujiif you know what I mean.
He gets ignored again.

Meanwhile, Yanagizawa thinks Momo is hot when he plays doubles.
Fuji kindly explains that it's because helost his virginity has played doubles before.
Fuji really does ship MomoKamio. He writes it in his school notebooks and makes FSTs all the time.
This is where the sekrit of the episode is revealed:
AN SET THEM UP SO THAT MOMO WOULD HAVE A GAY LOVER. NO, I AM NOT KIDDING.
(Also note that An has relatively normal fashion sense...)
So, at this point, Ryoma and Shinji are playing doubles against Kamio and Momo. Ryoma, being the douche he is, provokes Kamio and Momo so that they can't play doubles anymore.
Mizuki: i c wat u did thar Ryoma.
Ryoma is a homewrecker.
And he is also apparently having a gobang with Momo.
MEANWHILE, ON THE STREET:
Oishi: But a love square is the biggest thing to happen to the Seigaku tennis club EVAR!
Eiji: ... No, Oishi~ YOU are!
Oishi: *blushdie*
Fuji: She went on a date...
Fuji: ... with her brother!
No, wait, it gets better, seriously.

Yuuta/Mizuki is Yanagizawa's otp. He doesn't like Fujicest.
The best part? Look at how ridiculously pleased Mizuki is that Yuuta turned his brother down.
Wow, way to insinuate that Fuji molested Yuuta in childhood. XD;;; Also, I want to know if Fuji castrated Mizuki for that... but I guess he didn't because we never find out. XD;

IN CONCLUSION. THIS EPISODE IS GAY, FUJICEST IS AT LEAST ONESIDEDLY CANON, AN IS A YAOI FANGIRL, AND THE PEOPLE WHO MADE PRINCE OF TENNIS COULD NOT POSSIBLY HAVE MADE IT TO BE STRAIGHT.
