wearenotaskitzcough*) that I can still write plain, old, non-shota, non-incest ~~boring~~ yaoi, here's a little cliche something I wrote up. Mostly because I had the song stuck in my head. XD; You know how hard it is to think of a pairing to write that doesn't involve anyone underage or related? Jesus. XD;

The birds do it

Goku first heard the euphemism "the birds and the bees" from Gojyo when he was younger, very soon, in fact, after Sanzo and Goku became acquainted with the former Cho Gonou and his roommate. When Gojyo refused to tell him the meaning, Goku came running back to the temple to Sanzo, begging him over and over and over again to tell him the meaning of the phrase until Sanzo finally had to give up ignoring him and instead promise irritatedly, "When you're older."

Of course, that only caused him to be bombarded by questions on when exactly that was.

The bees do it

The next time Goku heard the euphemism used, it was two years later, when Hakkai used the phrase off-hand in conversation. Goku had, since the original occasion, forgotten Sanzo's promise, but when the words exited Hakkai's mouth, his eyes lit up. Turning to Sanzo, who, unfortunately, had been present at the moment, he demanded to know the meaning, as he was now legitimately older. In response, Sanzo hit him with the harisen, shot at him, and refused to talk to him for the rest of the day.

Let's do it

"Sanzo! Hey, Sanzo! Sanzo!" Goku's whine echoed through the empty hallways of the temple in twilight. Sanzo pretended not to hear.

"Hey! Hey, Sanzo!" Pushing off, Goku jumped, clasping his arms around Sanzo and nearly knocking the priest off his feet.

"What is it, you damn monkey?!"

Goku fell back, dancing around in front of Sanzo. "Will you tell me what 'the birds and the bees' means?"

Sanzo twitched. "Why? What reminded you this time?"

Goku shrugged. "Nothing. I just...remembered it. So, will you tell me?"

Sanzo sighed. "Stupid monkey." Leaning down, he pressed a kiss to Goku's lips. Not the first, not the most passionate, but something was different. Goku was confused.

"Sanzo...?"

He shook his head, giving Goku a rare half-smile.
