Title: Almost Perfect

A whole Sunday managed to come and go without much event; House and Wilson were home from the clinic early and were now relaxing in front of the tv. Something mindless was playing; Nascar or college basketball or something of the sort, and they had just finished dinner which Wilson had had plenty of time to cook. House had lost his jacket and shoes somewhere along the line, and Wilson had loosened his tie and removed his shoes and socks. They had started at either ends of the couch, but had somehow gravitated towards eachother over the past two hours, and were now resting against each other, though it seemed neither was fully willing to admit it. But that was normal, better than normal. In fact, things seemed to be perfect.
"Hey Wilson." Wilson glanced over to the other doctor, raising his eyebrows slightly. "Hm?"
"I think I liked the other nail polish better. This one is too pink." House snorted, then flipped channels in perfect apathy.
Wilson rolled his eyes, then rested his head back on House's shoulder. Wiggling his toes so that the nail polish caught the light, he sighed. Things were as perfect as they got with House, anyway.
