1. Do you remember the episode/scene/chapter that you first started shipping 5?
It's funny that it turned out this way, because Model Pair is by far the oldest ship that I have here. XD; I honestly can't remember the exact thing that made me start shipping them, but I remember that when I got into Arashi, for some reason, I really, really did not like Jun, and I really didn't want Aiba to be together with him. XD;;;; This still amazes me to this day-- how I got into Arashi was sort of wrapped up in a pretty unhappy and unhealthy time in my life, but for whatever reason, in the first few weeks, I was convinced Jun was a horrible villain (similar to Doumyouji? Still unclear) and Aiba should never be with him. But I'm the sort of person who doesn't really "choose" ships so much as look at things that seem like "evidence" to me and then believe what I see as "supported by evidence" even if I don't like one member, so I think it must have been from all the concerts I watched in those early days that I ended up shipping them despite myself… and that might even have been how I started opening up to Jun.
2. Have you ever read fanfiction about 2?
You know, I wish I could say "I've read tons!" but Hikaru x Inoo is so unpopular that I feel like I've written more than I've read for them. I don't really understand the lack of popularity or fic for them; they certainly have a lot of cute/sweet/inspiring interaction on TV shows, in magazines, and during concerts, but both in Japan (probably due to their heights, sadly enough) and in English-language online fandom, I just don't see much of them around.
3. Has a picture of 4 ever been your screen saver/profile picture/tumblr ID?
No-- there was certainly a time in my life when I would have liked to have had Fuma and Hokuto as my background for something, but there just aren't that many recent photos of them together, post B.I.Shadow. I do have an icon of them, and have made several, but I've never used the two of them as a default. They are both in my current default icon on LJ, though? Also, just fyi, 3 (Yamada/Chinen) were my phone background on my last American phone. XD
4. If 3 were to suddenly break up today, what would your reaction be?
Hahahahaha this question is funny because I actually have had this experience, so I can tell you exactly what my reaction was like. In my personal interpretation, in my personal headcanon (of course… these are all RPS so obviously none of them will ever be "canon" unless some laws in Japan and rules in Johnny's change a lot in the next ten years or so), Yamada and Chinen broke up around the end of 2011 (after Magic Power, before Super Delicate), and didn't get back together until early 2013 (shortly before the Johnny's World Kanshasai). I didn't realize this until I saw them live together in the 2012 Jump World tour because I am a dumdum, but if you watch their interaction in earlier Makings and concerts starting with the Hey Say 2010 ten JUMP concert (so cute) and then compare them to their interaction in the Super Delicate Making and the JUMP World jacket shooting (painfully awkward), and then after that, to their interaction in the Johnny's World Kanshasai DVD, you can probably see when I mean. When I saw them live for the first time in a year in the summer of 2012, though (the venue I went to did not end up on DVD so unfortunately I have no proof of this), it was like a slap in the face. They didn't look at one another, they didn't touch one another when it wasn't choreographed, and even their choreographed Magic Power fanservice was… pretty awful. My friends and I got super depressed before going into denial and trying to ignore that there was a problem, but after things seemed to have been resolved a bit later, looking back I was sort of like "Yup… that was a breakup."
However, since this question asks what would happen if they broke up today, I want to add that… since we are no longer in Yamada's bad period, I'd be pretty shocked. It'd depend on how I read the breakup (amicable or not amicable), but I'd be surprised either way, because anymore, Yamada seems so devoted to Chinen and so intent on being a good friend to all his groupmates. I'd be depressed as hell, for sure, but I'd probably be confident that they could work it out, since they did once before.
5. Why is 1 so important?
Because it's perfect? XD; That's a tongue in cheek answer, of course, but that's pretty much how I feel. They're perfect for one another… or at least, Reia is perfect for Jinguji, because he's confident and self-aware enough that Jinguji's stupidity and teenage-unintentional-but-still-hurtful douchery doesn't affect him deeply, but also that he can tell Jinguji to shut up and/or walk away when the situation calls for it… but also loves and supports Jinguji unconditionally for who he is, understanding his flaws and loving him despite them/for them. He's strong enough to help Jinguji through hard situations, but not too proud to let Jinguji take the lead when he wants to, too. And he's just such a stupidly giving person that he's the perfect match to Jinguji's stupid posturing and what have you… he boosts Jinguji's ego in a positive way, while still being honest to him. And he's just so unconditionally loving ;~~; And Jinguji loves him too and is willing to step outside of his comfort zone to show it. They've both grown as people from being around one another, and it's really beautiful ;___;
6. Is 4 a funny ship or a serious ship?
I don't know what qualifies a funny ship |D; I guess this meme was intended to be done in relation to TV/book/fictitious fandoms, but I'd say it was a serious ship? |D; I mean… I really ship them and want them to be happy together, ahaha. I don't know what this question means XD;
7. Out of all your ships listed, which ship has the most chemistry?
It depends on your definition of chemistry, but I guess I'd say Inoo and Hikaru (number 2). I think what I love about a lot of the other pairings is that they're opposites that fit/work together well, like puzzle pieces. They each have something that the other doesn't in a way that benefits the relationship; they each have some sort of give and take in the equation that completes the other. But with Hikaru and Inoo, it's not really like that; they work well together because of how much they're the same. They have the same sense of humour, the same way of showing their feelings, the same sorts of habits, and they just… fit together not because they have opposing ridges and valleys that fit together and fill one another, but because they're so the same that they just sit side by side perfectly. Inoo has said before that he hit it off with Hikaru right away from when they met when they were juniors, and I think that that sort of defines their relationship; there's not that much effort involved because they naturally just have chemistry and work well together.
8. Of all the ships, which ship has the strongest bond?
How can you ask me this XD; I guess here I'd say Model Pair (number 5) just by merit of how many years they've known one another and worked together. They've been in Arashi together for more than 15 years now, and they've been friends longer, since they were juniors, so add another 2 or 3 years to that… and you have one heck of a strong bond. XD I think that each couple has a strengthening element or shared experience that makes them all uniquely strong, but Jun and Aiba just have so many experiences, so many troubles they've overcome together and triumphs they'd enjoyed together, that they have an amazingly strong bond tried and tested by the years.
9. How many times have you read/watched 2’s fandom?
This doesn't really apply to doing this meme with JE pairs because… I mean, I can't have watched every single thing that JUMP has appeared in ever (I wish I could, but there's just no way for me to find every single TV appearance since 2007). But I follow them zealously, and I see their concerts several times during one tour?

This question is so defeatist?! I like to think that all five are still "lasting," not "lasted" XD; But like I said above, Jun and Aiba just have the advantage of having been together a lot more years than the other pairs XD;

To be honest… I don't know. I got into Arashi so long after their debut (was it even possible to follow idols in another country on the internet in 1999? At any rate, I was in 4th grade at the time and far from having my own LJ or even email address XD) that I really don't have a super strong headcanon for what was going on with the members' relationships at the time. I don't know if they were together and broke up or not, though, but it's pretty obvious from watching old shows like C, D, and G, as well as backstage stuff such as the 2003 How's It Going tour, that they went through a lot of rough and bad times between the two of them.
12. If the world was suddenly thrust into a zombie apocalypse, which ship would make it out alive, 1 or 3?
That is a hard question |D I like to think that they both would, but realistically speaking, I give Yamada slightly more credit for not being ridiculous and Chinen slightly more credit for being able to save Yamada than I give Jinguji or Reia, so I guess Yamada and Chinen |D;; I can't see Jinguji making it very long in a zombie apocalypse |D;
13. Did 4 ever have to hide their relationship for any reason?
This question is funny because in Johnny's everyone would have to hide their gay relationships lol but I don't think they ever hid it from other JE guys or friends?

I'm not sure why there's no question 15, and I also don't know much about the Hunger Games, but I guess probably Jun and Aiba? They're older and more experienced… Though I guess they're no longer as spritely |D;;; Yamada/Chinen and Inoo/Hikaru both have drawbacks, but I think they have a chance, too… Fuma and Hokuto are the biggest, physically, but they're also ridiculous, so I'm not sure. |D;
17. Has anyone ever tried to sabotage 4’s ship?
Not sure what this means XD But I think that if anyone tried to sabotage their relationship it was Johnny |D;;; He broke up their group! But they endured ♥

I'm going to be honest… all of them. Call my crazy, but I really love all my ships and think all of them have something unique and wonderful to offer. It's really hard to rank them because I love them all.

I probably have, back in the day. I don't really focus on them as much now that I've tangae'd, but I do really appreciate images of their beautiful love even still ♥
