I think that the competition was a really cool and interesting premise, and honestly, if the results had turned out almost any other way besides a 3-way tie and one team behind, I wouldn't have felt as bad. I agree, I hope that there were staff and senpai and friends to tell them how great they were, but it just seemed unnecessarily harsh, especially to Team Mu who had an endless cycle of sick and injured members. All four teams had really awesome performances and each and every single guy deserves to feel like a winner.
I hadn't thought about it being like Ya-ya-yah, but you're right! I hope that they continue doing the performance battles, but perhaps not ones where they have to compete against one another. I like seeing them try something new, but not having see one team lose for the other team to win. I know I'm sort of a wimp about it, but I just want all of them to be able to be happy!
