I FINISHED je_fqfest!!!! YAY. I'm freeeeee. I'm just waiting on my super wonderful beta, and then I can turn it in. HURRAH! I feel like it's awful, but… hopefully my recipient will find it at least somewhat sexy. T___T;;;

Also, snow alerted me to the fact that Kento mentioned penlights in his Jweb entry! So if you get jweb, check it out! I think they usually translate penlight as "glow stick" or something odd like that (I've never read the English version but I've seen it mentioned on tumblr or something, I think?) but they mean penlights. He just said that the penlights looked pretty, but… well, since he was playing attention to them, I hope he was giving the green and yellow penlight project a shout-out! ;___; Even the ever-perfect, professional Kento seems really broken up over this whole thing (…which I have to admit, makes me warm up to him a lot >__>;) and… they're all just such good kids, ugh. ;___; I love these kids so much. Here's to hoping things get better from here.

In other happier news, I bought a new yukata!



You can't really tell here, but it's actually a pale blue with lilies! I'm really happy about it. It's not as nice as my other one, which was a gift from my ex way back in 2007 from a fancy department store, but I got it from earth, music, and ecology, so I think it's pretty nice. ^^ And it was on sale! Always good. XD

I also have a few new outfits from Liz Lisa to wear to the Gamushara Sexy Natsu Matsuri, so I'm excited about that! Wearing Liz Lisa to Sexy Girl stuff always makes me feel like I fit in… as well as a foreigner can fit in. |D;;;

Hahaha. To be completely honest, I think it will probably be years before I really like Kento, as…the whole package. His stage character is just too…much for me to really enjoy him that much, as an idol. But there have definitely been times when I've been frustrated with him, as a person, and I think that seeing the way he's handled this situation has really put my heart at ease about those things. And I think that probably, in a few years, when he's a little more mature and has a little more experience, some of the things that I find distasteful will probably fade out. I can say now with confidence that I think he's a good kid who's trying his best in the best way he knows how. So… does that count for anything? XD;; Honestly, as a fan, that's sort of what counts to me, in the long run, anyway. XD

haha it still counts as "warming up," yes! i just (for whatever weird reason) get very excited when i see people who don't really care for him saying ANYTHING kind about him since he's one of those very polarizing idols - people either love him or hate him and nothing in between.

well that's okay, of course. you can get away with wearing accessories a lot more often than you can get away with wearing full outfits. besides, they make the most absolutely amazing bags.

Yeah, that's definitely true. But I think with the front man it's usually that way, where 75% of people love him and 25% of people hate him (like Yamada, for example). For me, even though I find the front man "role" unappealing, as long as I like them as a person, I don't mind. What I really care about is how at the end of the day is how they interact with their groupmates, care about their groups, and make decisions as a person… which is why I can see myself growing to like Kento a lot more presuming he continues to mature. I actually liked him a lot more at veeery first (like, Akuma na Koi) because I find his actual nature pretty cute, it's just the stuff he layers on top now that I don't really like so much.

Argh sorry that got really TL;DR again. |D;;; I just have so many feelings about my idols. |D;;;

Yeah, especially since I work full time in a school, it's pretty hard to get away with being too over the top. But I sneak the accessories in, because I'm not ~essential staff or whatever, so I can get away with more. XD; They do have amazing bags! And also earrings, and necklaces, and hair accessories… XD

well, he does a lot of posturing & fanservice so it's not a mystery to me how he could be a bit much for some people, so i have no complaints about anyone saying he's too ott for them. it's when i see the COLD-HEARTED UNCARING ASSHOLE comments, or (my favs) the outright lies about things he never even said, gurl oh no u didn't. truthfully i can't wait for him to realize that he doesn't need literally every single person in the world to love him because i think the repercussions of that behavior are what put a lot of people off him in the first place? jmk kenty is cute but i like regular kento better.

omg. the hair accessories. i have a set of hairpins i'm pretty sure i got from them w/ little roses & crystals on them... i'm pretty sure i would rather not eat for a week than give up those pins?? lol.

Haha I think we agree on most things except our personal preference. XDD But it actually bothers me and stuff in concerts that he gives in to a lot of the stuff that it would be better if they just ignored, like the really crazy fans trying to grab at him and call things to him and stuff. Like, I get that it's just that he needs every single person to like him, but it makes those of us who behave lose out in the end, I guess, so I find it sort of frustrating. But like you said, I think as he gets older and more mature, the way he handles being ~prince kenty will become more palatable to me.

Ughh I know right? I'm actually the worst about buying every colour of the same item, too. >>;; So I have so many flower clips and shushus in every shade… Ahahaha.
