So here's the
Nothing special, right? A pretty enough picture, probably the tech and cheer (behind the scenes) team for some sort of racecar, and both Doumeki and Kuro are in pink, which is fun, but nothing special, right?
But then we see the
This completes the proof in several ways. First off, this cast is in green (the corrosponding drive team), which is the complementary colour to pink. Following up on common Minekura logic (which, I'm sure, CLAMP would subtly include, because CLAMP is very good with subtle), that says that the four characters in the pink suits are paired with the four characters in the green suits.
But Kit, you say, that only proves that some combination of characters of pink and green are paired.
Yes. True. But, using common sense, we can obviously eliminate Syaoran (green) and Sakura (pink), since they're the main pairing in TRC. Fye (green) and Kurogane (pink) are naturally next, since there's a lot of hinting and they're from the same series, if nothing else. That leaves us with Yuuko and Doumeki (pink) and Watanuki and Himawari (green). The possibility of YuukoxWata and DouHima is eliminated by the placement of sake bottles in both Yuuko and Himawari's hands. This link between characters is the most obvious, which seems necessary, since YuukoHimawari seems an abstract pairing (I'll get back to that one another day--thia is a Watanuki Doumeki over-analysis post! XD). The link between Watanuki and Doumeki is extremely subtle--they both lack the crown above the Mokona CLAMP emblem on their suits. Also, Watanuki and Doumeki's left hands are both hidden behind another team member. The link is supported by anoth link between Fye and Kurogane--both have shirts matching their hats on beneath their jackets. Also, Kurogane and Fye are also the only ones in their respectives groups wearing their headgear differently: Fye's the only one with his goggles around hi neck and Kuro has his hat on backwards.

On a random note, all of the semes exceot Syaoran are on the build-pink-team. Is that to say that sweet Sakura would seme Syaoran? I can't really see them doing anything, like, until they're 50 billion years old, and I don't really like to think about it.
