Disclaimer: I don’t own Saiyuki, however, I ought to own some part of the phrase, as I use it rather often. XD;

Author’s note: I was amused by the idea of Hakkai being able to transfer chi through his lips and it went along with my abosolute farvourite cliché, so…hey.

Gojyo winced when he felt Hakkai’s breath on the cut, but he didn’t withdraw his hand. The small wound dripped small specks of blood; Gojyo had gotten himself fairly badly on the broken glass. Hakkai softly pressed his lips to Gojyo’s hand, and Gojyo felt the warmth blossoming on contact. Neither moved. After a few seconds, Hakkai released Gojyo’s hand, then smiled and stepped away, returning to his cooking. Gojyo grinned at the spot where the cut had been, still warm from Hakkai’s chi.
Hakkai looked over his shoulder, smiling. “I told you if I kissed it it would feel better.”
