Author's Notes: Harry kissing the snitch was cute to me X3;

In the midnight hours of dark solitude, Harry sits awake in the tent, fingering the golden snitch as he hears Hermione crying outside. He feels somehow empty; he's lost his best friend, he's lost his owl, he's lost any happiness or solace he could have mustered.... And so his only companion is the tiny golden ball, his hopeless clue.

He has already memorized its cryptic message, has already read it so many times now it is forever branded into his memory. This time, when he presses his lips softly to the small golden object, it is for comfort, for the minescule bit of joy he can derive from once again kissing his first love.

Okay, I was hunting through for something short to read (and how how short this is) but THIS WAS RIDICULOUSLY CUTE. I kind of hate Harry more often than not but this was just precious. And poor baby, he has lost basically all his happy little Harry things, hasn't he. :<

Harry/Snitch is love. xDDD

Aww, I'm glad you liked it :D Harry is a whiny little brat most of the time, but the part where he kissed the snitch seemed like, disproportionately cute to me. XD;;;;
