So Kamen Teacher is getting a movie.

I actually saw this coming, maybe? Watching the last episode, it seemed like the creepy guy (Saito Takumi's character) was hinting at something. But nothing but the spring slot has ever gotten a movie, so I sort of shook it off... and yet, it happened! Crazy. So... here are my opinions. Sorry if they're unpopular... again, just disclaiming that I don't really like Kansai Juniors (and I'm not a huge Fujigaya fan), so if you do, we're going to have to agree to disagree, and if it offends you, maybe don't read this post. ^^;;;

Pros and Cons
☀ Pro: More Kamen Teacher!
☁ Con: The movie could mess up a lot of things that I liked about the drama.
☀ Pro: Snow Man! Especially Sakuma Daisuke ♥
☁ Con: Kansai juniors gtfo
☀ Pro: At least it's not Shigeoka Daiki... Kotaki is attractive anyway.
☁ Con: I can't write fic now for another four months...
☁ Con: If it's coming out four months from now it must be cheap as shit, since it's taking less time to come out than the Bad Boys J movie...
☀ Pro: That could lead to some hilarity...
☀ Pro: More Fuma!
☀ Pro: More Taiga!
☀ Pro: More Kishimaru!
☁ Con: More Fujigaya...
☀ Pro: Something to look forward to in February!

...So, uh, seems like the pros outweigh the cons for now? I'm going to be tentatively optimistic!


Also, I'm giving Chinen's new drama a try, so let's hope Nishikido's awful character and the misogynistic undertones don't make me quit midway! Chinen's acting really is great, and I want to watch my baby. ;~~~; He's grown up so much, and I'm really impressed. ♥

Hopefully it won't mess up anything too major from the drama... and something to look forward to in February is definitely a plus~ I'm excited to see what kind of roles the Snow Men have :D

I hope that maybe it will focus on Snow Man/Kotaki/the new teacher character and the old characters will mostly be side characters. That seems like the highest potential for a storyline that won't fuck anything up and that will be in the same vein of enjoyableness as before.

Yay movie! But I agree...cautious yay |D I suppose there's nothing to do but wait and see. Also ep 12 subs came out kin-chan babyyyyyyyyyyyyyy ;~;

I...sort of watched the first ep? I had a hell of a time finding subs anywhere, or even a raw file without japanese/chinese subs of decent quality. So I've seen it with japanese subs and it looks interesting at least. Chinen is fucking adorable but that was a given. He also seems to spend a lot of time napping so |D perfect casting in that sense too.

Yeah, basically. I'm more cautiously optimistic than I am for the BBJ movie. XD;;; I haven't watched with subs yet, but yes. ;~~;

I mean, the first episode was a week from yesterday. I know some people sub fast, but that's sort of asking a lot, all things considered. I know I wouldn't be able to sub an hour-long drama in a week. :P I watched it with no subs, so if you do want a clean version, I can send you a download link. But yeah, Chinen was really adorable and his acting was amazing. ♥

Yeah, I was having trouble finding anyone who was even saying they were going to sub it, though. I did find a community eventually, even if the actual eps are not as HQ as I'd like. But that's me benig a HQ whore |D I've gotten spoiled
