gakuto's a whore?

Apparently, I really can't decide who I pair Gakuto with. XD; Every time I'm going back to good old Oshitari/Gakuto, I happen to see something ShishiGaku or something and it makes me squeal over that. XD;;;

So, since I wanted to create a poll. XD;;; Please give me your opinion! Which is your first favourite Gakuto pairing?

Well, there's nothing wrong with shipping him with just about everyone. I do that with some characters myself. Never in one setting though; rule of multiple ships entails that you don't have everyone tripping on their toes and madly in love with one character unless there's a distinct setting for it. Or a few of them have had some mysterious Inui concoction. ;)

AtoGaku depends on characterization. Mm. Actually, any pairing would. It depends how you view them. Atobe would drive Gakuto crazy, I admit, but in a probable 'relationship', it'd go both ways. I see them as being impulsive on different levels, I see one character creeping the other out (not in the Inui or Mizuki way). I see growing up and them seeing each other in a new light, too. I guess more work goes into developing them rather than taking them as an established pair.

XD; yeah. He's not like Golden Pair or Silver Pair where there's a lot of evidence towards one solid pairing (not to say that one can't ship the members of either of those with others, I'm just saying there's lots of canon evidence), he has quite a bit of wiggle room, and I have fun with it. :)

Hmm, I can see how, perhaps, they might be compatible in some situations, but it's not really on the top of my "this is likely to happen in the future" list. Unless there was some event that left them stuck together, I don't think Gakuto would ever be on Atobe's radar, just because Atobe likes to be "at the top" so to speak. The people I see being compatible with Atobe - Tezuka, Ryoma, Sanada - are all people he considers to be at his level, and though I can see, should some event happen, Gakuto and Atobe having some chemistry together, I don't see it being something that would naturally happen. Honestly, I feel the same way about Atobe and Jirou, which is a vastly popular pairing for reasons I don't understand.
