I mean... there is... there's still the snarky-rivalry sort of thing, but it's much less. The manga is like HELLO EVERYONE THIS IS VERY HETEROSEXUAL, which... irks me. idk, I personally liked the anime better for a bunch of reasons, so this new one agitates me a bit, but for those who like the manga, I guess it's nice.
