Part 2~
Everything same as the last post~
“What do you think of daisies, Algernon?” Perceval asked breathily, draping himself over Algernon and glancing, just for a moment, down at the treaty he was writing. How boring politics were! He couldn’t stand to read it, to even think about it, so he allowed his eyes to flutter shut and inhailed deeply, indulging himself in Algernon’s heavenly scent before sighing and lifting himself off of Algernon’s shoulder to position himself perfectly on the edge of the desk. “Or snapdragons? That would be lively, wouldn’t? I think snapdragons would make a lovely theme for a summer ball.” He smiled and stood once more, flitting about the room in excitement. “It would be so colorful! I’d certainly have to commission something extravagant from the tailor, wouldn’t I?” Perceval didn’t think Algernon was planning on answering, but before he himself could continue, there was a swift knock at the door and Perceval turned, lifting a brow as a servant hurried into the room and dropped to the floor in a deep bow.
“I’m so very sorry to disturb you, highness, but there’s a woman here to see M. Mauvais. May I show her in?” the servant asked hesitantly, glancing from Algernon to Perceval, and then lowering his eyes nervously, fidgeting slightly.
Perceval scrunched up his nose at the man’s poor behavior but he was in too good a mood to deal any punishments at the moment, and additionally, he was quite sure the woman the man was referring to was in fact the royal florist, come to inquire as to whether or not Perceval had decided on the next party’s flower. “Yes, as long as Algernon doesn’t mind, show her in, but explain to her that we only have just a moment.” After all, while it was true that Perceval never ever dealt with any of the politics, he took his job of entertaining Algernon while he worked very seriously. “Do you mind a short break?” Perceval asked, turning to Algernon and smiling at him sweetly.
Algernon, who actually had been trying to work, for the record, sighed. "Yes, yes, all right, so long as it's short," he replied, waving his hand. "But I really must finish this before tonight, darling... I know you hate it when I come to bed late, and it needs to be in Hispania by next week... I simply must get it done. So this needs to be quick, all right?" He hated to see Perceval pout, but running a country did require doing some work every once in a while.
With Algernon’s consent, the servant bowed deeply once again and backed out of the room as quickly as he could while still following protocol, and Perceval smiled even brighter, moving to perch once more on Algernon’s desk. “Don’t worry. I’ve decided on snapdragons, so I’m quite sure this will go quickly. I need only tell the florist and—” Perceval meant to go on to assure Algernon that as soon as he had his party plans worked out, he would be very good and not distract Algernon any longer, but the woman that entered the room stopped him mid-sentence. She certainly was not the florist—she was very slight, and her green eyes flashed quickly from Algernon to Perceval before she ushered three small children into the room and quickly shut the door. The three children immediately dropped to the floor in a somewhat clumsy bow, and the woman curtsied, her waist length blond hair falling forward off of her shoulders. She would have been pretty—for a woman—if it wasn’t for her extremely common and outdated clothes, and for the fact that she and her children held the bow for an inappropriate length of time. No, she certainly was not the florist, and Perceval glowered down at her, infuriated at having been tricked into seeing some worthless commoner.
“Perceval? Oh, I just can’t believe it!” she cried, a note of hysteria in her voice that absolutely terrified Perceval. He stood up quickly and moved to stand behind Algernon, stiffening and ready at any moment to ring the bell that would summon the guards.
“Who do you think you are?!” Perceval demanded angrily, stomping his foot and folding his arms. “How dare you address me—”
“You don’t recognize me?” she asked quickly before he could finish. “But, I suppose we’ve never met…” she laughed softly, a sort of high-strung sounding laugh that disturbed Perceval further. “I just thought that your servant would have told you, but, just as well.” She put her arm on the shoulder of the tallest of her children and smiled coyly, tilting her head slightly to the side. “You see, I’ve wanted for so long to meet you, Perceval, but we didn’t know how possibly to find you until—” She glanced quickly at Algernon and dipped into a brief curtsy, not finishing the obvious. “I’m your sister, Perceval!”
Perceval’s hand flew to his mouth and he took a step back, too stunned to speak. Surely she was lying! She—she couldn’t possibly be his sister! And she looked so young, too! She was obviously lying…the nerve of some people!
Algernon blinked, thoroughly surprised. Turning to Perceval, he blinked again before commenting, "Why-- Percy-- you never told me you had a sister." It seemed ludicrous... but, looking at her... the green eyes, the blonde hair... even her gestures and and mannerisms were like Perceval's, and Algernon was convinced. And, looking at her children... the oldest must have been about seven, and when he looked at him, also blonde, slender, green-eyed... It must have been what Perceval looked like as a child. Licking his lips, Algernon offered a smile, deciding to be polite, because even if women were not his favourite thing, boys... they were different. "It's a pleasure to meet you, madame... what lovely children you have." He would let Perceval deal with this... but that didn't mean he couldn't comment.
Perceval tensed and looked down at Algernon, drawing in a tight breath. By lovely children, he didn’t mean—and yet, the way he said it…Perceval shuddered, disgusted by the idea of any little boy being considered ‘lovely,” at least in the way Algernon had obviously meant it. But that was of course beside the point! “That’s because I do not have a sister! She’s obviously lying!” Perceval hissed, narrowing her eyes and glaring at the young boy on whose shoulder’s the lying woman’s hands rested. The boy flinched and looked down and Perceval just about smirked, slightly vindicated.
“No, I swear to you!” The woman said quickly, moving the child aside and taking a few steps forward, tears in her eyes. “I’m you sister—one of five! And you have two brothers as well.” She looked beseechingly up at Perceval and he looked back at her incredulously, she smoothed her frumpy dress in her agitation, trying a different tactic. “Please, you must believe me! My name is Clarice Marino. Our mother’s name was Brigitte D’Aubigne, and she married our father, Alexis Rousseau.” She said hurriedly in her desperation to convince the two of them.
Perceval paused a moment and swallowed, furrowing his brow as he considered her facts. Seven siblings? Really? It…it was a possibility… Though he knew she did indeed have the names correct, he hadn’t ever known his parents himself, so it was a very real possibility that he had siblings. But why had no one made any effort to contact him before? Unless of course she was only interested in meeting him now that he was married to Algernon, the most powerful man in the country. Perceval set his jaw and balled his hands into fists, shaking slightly. “Anyone could have looked up my parents’ names. You have no proof, and it’s obvious what you’re trying to do here!”
“What are you saying…?” Clarice gasped as tears began to roll down her face. “Please, you must believe me! I’ve wanted all my life to meet you… That’s why I immigrated here to Gallia.” She swallowed and extracted a kerchief, dabbing gingerly at her eyes. “You don’t understand—you see—we’re alone here. These children have no father, no one to look up too… Please! You must believe me! We have no one. My family…our family…is still in Hesperia…we have no where to go…”
Algernon raised an eyebrow. This was not going anywhere anytime soon... Running a hand through his hair, he looked on for another moment, then shifted his gaze to the boy. He really was very pretty... old enough not to seem irritating and a lot of work, but young enough not to have lost the sweet innocence of youth... young, cute, but yet, beautiful, like Perceval...
Looking up again, he realized that Perceval and the woman were at a standstill, and decided to try and lighten the situation. Putting on a charismatic smile, he gestured to the oldest son. "How much for the boy, then?"
“Algernon!” Perceval screeched, scandalized. How could he have actually said such a thing!? Did he honestly mean it!? Wasn’t his pet Christian enough!?
Clarice grabbed her son quickly by the hand and pulled him close to her, looking up at Algernon, horrified. “W-what? You couldn’t possibly—but he-he’s just a boy!”
Algernon chuckled, putting an arm around Perceval's waist and pulling him closer. "There, there," he soothed, before turning back to the woman. "I'm just joking." Clearing his throat, he looked to Perceval again. "But, really, madam, I am sorry, but, seeing as you're Percy's relative, you'll have to appeal to him. Whether or not you really are my inlaw... I leave it up to him."
“Perceval, please, I—” Clarice began before Perceval cut her off.
“You should realize that even if we are related—and I know we’re not—I want nothing to do with you or your children or any other Rousseau!” Perceval said coldly, his voice rising in pitch as he flushed with anger and grew steadily more and more emotional. “If you had bothered to put just a little bit more research into this—this act—then you would have realized that I would never associate with you! They—“our parents”—abandoned me first. I never knew them, never wanted to know them, and I owe nothing to a family I was never invited to be a part of.” He folded his arms in such a manner so as to make the decision final, and turned away. “Now, I’ll call the guards to remove the four of you if you don’t escort yourselves off the grounds.”
Clarice turned stunned from Perceval to Algernon, then back again as more tears began to roll down her cheeks. The second oldest of her children seemed to sense the tension in the room and burst into tears, folding himself into his mother’s skirts. She took him quickly by the hand, and scooped the smallest child into her arms, looking one last time at her brother pathetically.
“You could be part of our family if you wanted to…?” The oldest boy said softly, even as his mother turned, leading his brothers to the door. Perceval shot the boy a look once quickly, and turned back to the wall, determined to stay aloof.
“I have Algernon.” Perceval replied coldly through clenched teeth. “What need have I for a family like yours? It disgusts me. Leave.”
Algernon looked from Perceval to the possibly-relatives as they left the room, giving one last, lingering look to the boy, making a mental note to track him down sometime. Then, once they were gone, he turned back to Perceval, pulling him into his arms and placing a kiss on his neck. "Are you all right, Percy?" he asked softly, trying to catch his eyes.
“How dare that woman—!” Perceval said angrily, collapsing into Algernon’s arms and shaking with emotion. “Algernon, she—even if she wasn’t lying—she only came because of who I am now, not because I’m her brother, not because any of them ever cared about me at all!” He buried his face against Algernon’s shoulder and allowed the tears he’d been holding back to fall at last. “I hate all of them! And if she really is my sister, then I’m sure she’s just like my mother—she’s going to abandon those children the first chance she gets—I just know it.” Perceval said bitterly. He was surprised she hadn’t jumped at the opportunity to sell her son—he was certain she would have preferred the money. Why else would she be desperate enough to try and appeal to his sympathies?
"There, there," Algernon soothed, pulling Perceval closer, holding him tighter. "I know your family story isn't the best... but you have to move forward..." Stroking Perceval's hair softly, he kissed the top of his head again. "I love you for who you are, and nothing else matters, all right? Whatever they say... it doesn't matter... Shh... you know I can't stand to see you cry..."
“I…I know…” Perceval said softly, trying to compose himself. He waited to lift his head until his tears had stopped, and when he finally looked up at Algernon, he did so slowly and without releasing his grip on Algernon’s shoulders. He knew Algernon had a lot of work to do…but Perceval still felt shaken and hoped desperately Algernon would hold him just a little longer… “I love you so much…I meant it when I said I don’t need anyone but you, Algernon.” He smiled softly and gazed into Algernon’s eyes lovingly a moment more before sighing. “I don’t care what anyone does. I’m so happy…It just makes me angry that she might have known our parents and I didn’t, and that those boys are going to end up how I did or worse.” He leaned back against Algernon and let his eyes fall shut in contentment. Being this close to Algernon made it easy to push such awful thoughts from his mind. “But I’ve never cared before, so I won’t start caring now.” Perceval resolved firmly before a thoughtful smile made its way to his lips. “I’m actually grateful for how things went…if they hadn’t left me, I may never have met you.”
Algernon smiled too, despite himself, at the last comment. "Yes... if that's the case, I'm happy, as well... because I never would have made it this far without you by my side, Percy." Kissing him softly on the lips, Algernon drew back slightly to look into his eyes. "So, can you make it through the rest of the day? I promise I'll be done as soon as possible, and spend the evening with you, all right?"
Perceval opened his eyes slowly, still trying to savor the feeling of Algernon’s lips against his own. Meeting his gaze, Perceval nodded and released his hold on Algernon gently and got to his feet. “I’ll be all right as long as I have an evening with you to look forward to.” Perceval assured with a coy smile.
A week or so went by without event; Algernon sent his papers to Hispania, Perceval planned for his ball, and all was well in the palace. Still, Algernon could tell, beneath the smiles he put on to please Algernon and his momentary pleasures in pretty things and plans, Perceval was still shaken from the event of his possible sister, and despite knowing that time would probably heal things, Algernon wanted to make it better as soon as possible. And so, he decided, a gift for Perceval was in store.
But, of course, nowadays, when Algernon gave Perceval something, it couldn't be just anything. Jewelry was always nice, but Algernon usually saved the most expensive jewelry for special occasions, and now called for something more unique, he felt, anyway. He needed to think of something special... and after a few days, he came up with it. Immediately, he commissioned all the work he needed, and managed, somehow, to keep Perceval from investigating for the duration of the construction.
Finally, however, everything was finished, and after Algernon had inspected, it was time to present the gift. And so, after dinner, Algernon rose and moved to Perceval's side, taking him by the hand and helping him to his feet. "I have a surprise for you, Percy, love." Placing a kiss on his hand, Algernon withdrew his handkerchief, holding it up for Perceval to see. "Of course, you'll need to be blindfolded... Will you come with me now?"
"A surprise?" Perceval repeated with a smile, blushing as he tried to guess the occasion. He looked at the blindfold skeptically, but turned around for Algernon to tie it, then adjusted his hair carefully. Hoping he looked all right, he smiled again, and extended his hand blindly for Algernon. "What is it?" Perceval asked eagerly.
"Now, now, Percy," Algernon reprimanded with a chuckle, taking Perceval's hands in his own tenderly and beginning to lead. "If I told you, it wouldn't be a surprise, would it? Patience is a virtue, darling." Leading Perceval out of the dining room, through the halls, and to one of the many back doors, Algernon led him down a little path to one of the many gardens on the property. Before, it had been nothing special, a small affair, and Perceval had often whined that he wanted it fixed up. Now, Algernon hoped it would be more appreciated in its newly renovated state.
Bringing Perceval to stand just at the entrance to the garden, he carefully withdrew the blindfold. Pressing a soft kiss to Perceval's cheek, Algernon whispered in his eyes, "You can open your eyes."
Perceval opened his eyes slowly, blinking in the cool breeze that blew through the unfamiliar dark green hedges that stood before them. "Oh, Algernon!" Perceval gasped, lifting his hands to cover his mouth in delighted surprise, having found himself in what he now realized was one of the palace gardens, though everything was so beautiful that he could barely recognize it. The heavenly perfeum of the thousands of white flowers that blossomed all around them hung heavily in the air, and Perceval inhaled deeply as he gazed about his elegant surroundings. The perfectly pruned hedges that stretched out in front of them appeared to form a maze; the walls of green towered up above them, preventing Perceval from seeing the end, and the mystery of it sent a small shiver down his spine. On either side of the entrance to the maze were two enormous golden cages that glistened white in the twilight, reflecting off of the bejeweled handles and diamond studded accents. Contained within each cage was an enormous white bird surrounded by a multitude of doves, and, as Perceval looked on, one of the birds lifted his head regally and fanned out his tale in an elaborate display of beauty. "Peacocks!" Perceval exclaimed, looking back to Algernon excitedly and feeling almost faint with pure delight. Unable to stand, Perceval dropped into one of the many white marble benches that lined the garden and smiled brightly, lovingly, up at Algernon and reached for his hand. "Thank you so much, Algernon. This is incredible! It's all so beautiful...I can barely believe it. Thank you!"
Algernon smiled, taking Perceval's hands and leaning forward to kiss him again, this time on the lips. "Do you like it, Percy? You'd been looking so down recently... and you know I can't stand to see you unhappy." Placing a kiss on each of Perceval's wrists, Algernon then pulled Perceval to his feet and into his arms, holding him tightly. "I thought it would be a nice place for you to hold another party, whenever you'd like... since that seems to bring you joy. I just want to see a smile on your beautiful lips."
"It's just so wonderful, Algernon," Perceval sighed into Algernon's arms. "It's more than I could have even dreamed of," He felt like he was melting in the embrace, and he still wouldn't quite trust his legs to support him, he was still too stunned. Hopefully Algernon wouldn't let go of him yet. "How could I be down when I have you?" Perceval said softly, pulling back just enough to look into Algernon's eyes, to show him that he couldn't keep the smile from pulling up the corners of his mouth. "I'm so happy...this is so fabulous--the perfect place for a garden affair. It will be the talk of the whole country!" He looked over the gift again gleefully, then turned back to Algernon. "Algernon, will you take me through the maze?" He asked hopefully, adding with a giggle before Algernon could respond, "Don't let go of my hand--I might get lost without you, you know."
"All right," Algernon replied with a smile, "but I'm not going to give you any hints... you'll have to figure it out yourself." Leading Perceval to the entrance, he gestured with his free hand. "After you, Percy... and if you're lucky, maybe there will be a prize for you in the centre."
"A prize?" Perceval asked, batting his lashes coyly. "Oh, but Algernon, you've already given me so much, what else could you have in store for me?" Perceval squeezed Algernon's hand gently and started towards the entrance, giddy with excitment. "I don't know that I'll be able to find my way... You'll give me a hint if I start going in the wrong direction, won't you?"
"Not even the smallest hint," Algernon responded with a chuckle, shaking his head to emphasize his point. "After all, I've already set a prize for you... it would be pointless if I helped you, wouldn't it?" In truth, Algernon knew he would probably have to help, but he liked the idea of Perceval completely helpless and wandering about in the maze, begging him for directions... But, Algernon scolded himself, he couldn't get too lost in fantasy now, or else he wouldn't enjoy the prize-- Perceval's prize, he reminded himself-- at the end. "Come now, Percy... I have faith in you." He pecked Perceval on the cheek encouragingly. "And as for the prize... well, that's a surprise, too. He smirked, giving Perceval a bit of a tap on the ass. "If you don't get started, you'll never finish!"
Perceval gasped and blushed brightly, turning to Algernon and pulling him toward into the maze playfully with a nod of agreement. With a final look at his beautiful birds, Perceval started off on the path to the right, clutching Algernon's hand in both of his and intending never to let go.
"At least if we get hopelessly lost in here, I'll be with you," Perceval said softly with another blush after a few minutes of very little progress made. "There isn't much more I need to survive than you, Algernon." Perceval turned and looked back at Algernon, his expression quickly shifting into a sultry sort of pout. "You wouldn't let me get lost and afraid, would you?" Perceval whined, glancing from Algernon briefly at the path that forked in front of them. "What direction would you chose, Algernon? You have such a good sense of direction...and I'm sure I'd pick the wrong way..."
"You really are twisting my arm, Percy," Algernon replied, shaking his head. Of course, Algernon had memorized the correct directions to the centre of the maze, but that didn't mean he was ready to help Perceval just yet. "Come on, don't you want your prize? It won't mean anything if you don't find it yourself." Taking a step forward, he put his hands over Perceval's eyes. "Don't worry so much. Just pick one."
“Of course it will!” Perceval grumbled. “If you help me, I’ll only be that much more indebted to you—both for the prize and for helping me find it.” Perceval sighed and put his hands over Algernon’s, turning his head to the left. “But if you insist…I guess we’ll go that way? Is that one the right one, Algernon? Take pity on me, won’t you? We could be out here all night if you don’t give me at least a little help.”
"Maybe," Algernon replied enigmatically. "You won't know until you try." Following Perceval into the maze, he couldn't help but smirk to himself. "And you really needn't feel indebted to me, Percy... unless, of course, you really do need my help. Then, I feel, I might need some form of reimbursement."
Perceval stopped and turned to Algernon, dipping his head sweetly to the side and looking up at Algernon with a demure smile and an air of false innocence. “What would you like, Algernon? I’ll pay any price you can name for just a little bit of help.” Perceval stated, holding on to Algernon’s arms tightly as he led the way down another turn haphazardly. “I don’t know where we are…” he whined pathetically as they came to a three way fork. “If I didn’t have you, Algernon, I’d be terrified! I’ve gotten us so lost…” He looked down at his feet and stopped, whimpering softly. “Please, Algernon, I’ll do anything for your help!”
"Now, now," Algernon soothed, drawing Perceval into his arms. "Don't cry, Percy... of course I'll help you. I wanted to make you happy, remember? So don't cry for me." Licking the tears from Perceval's cheeks, he pretended to think a moment. "Still, when we get to the centre, you know, you'll owe me." Placing a kiss on Perceval's cheek, he offerred his arm. "All right? For every turn I direct you, you'll owe me... and I'm keeping count."
"Oh thank you Algernon!" Perceval sniffled, extracting his kerchief and dabbing at his eyes quickly. "Once we get there, I'll do my best to pay you back in whatever way you'd like." Perceval assured, slipping his arm into Algernon's. "So...Which way first?"
"Come, Percy," Algernon replied with a grin, leading him into the maze. Seeing as Algernon knew the way, it didn't take too long to lead them to the centre of the maze, and even as they approached, the sound of running water could be heard. "Close your eyes, Percy," Algernon commanded, placing his hands over his eyes as he led Perceval into the lard clearing. Benches circled the centre of the maze, at which there was a large, elaborate, white marble fountain. Withdrawing his hands, Algernon kissed Perceval lightly on the back of the neck. "Surprise, darling. Do you like it?"
"Algernon!" Perceval gasped, "It's gorgeous!" He took a few steps forward and looked into the crystal clear water that seemed to shimmer as it cascaded down to the lowest level. He then turned back to Algernon happily and smiled, retuning to his side and taking his hand. "All of this is so wonderful," Perceval cooed, canting his head to lean gently against Algernon's shoulder. "Thank you so much." Perceval closed his eyes for a moment as he listened to the sound of the water flowing over each marble terrace, then straightened and looked back at Algernon. "Well, Algernon, may I inquire as to your preferred method of payment?"
Algernon smirked, not answering at first. Pushing Perceval to the edge of the fountain, Algernon pressed a hard kiss to his lips, almost immediately deepening it. He felt Perceval melt in his arms, and smirked, drawing back. Looking over Perceval's body, still dressed in his beautiful, elaborate clothes, he licked his lips. "Well, to start, Percy... You can undress for me." Taking another step back, he smirked. "No, no time for modesty now... undress for me, and let me watch."
Perceval was still almost faint and breathless from the kiss, but Algernon's words seemed to snap him back to reality a little too abruptly, and he stumbled backwards slightly, catching himself on the cool marble of the fountain. "W-what?" Perceval asked, slightly panicked and blushing a vibrant shade of red. "T-that's not fair, Algernon!" Perceval forced a laugh and glanced quickly from side to side, as if there were some kind of distraction that would save him from Algernon's scrutiny. But, he had promised to do anything Algernon wanted... Perceval swallowed and knit his brow, reaching tentatively for his cravat and untying it carefully, giving Algernon a minute extra in case he felt like being merciful. But Algernon's eyes didn't leave him, and so Perceval shrugged out of his jacket and folded it over his arm, shivering slightly both from the cold and from the way Algernon looked at him.
Perceval knelt and set the jacket on the grass carefully, then straightened and smoothed his knickers out of habit, glancing nervously up at Algernon and blushing further. Carefully, he untucked his shirt and began unbuttoning it, turning slightly to the side in an effort to move out of Algernon's gaze. Hands shaking in embarrassment, Perceval finished unbuttoning his blouse and hesitated a moment before letting it fall from his shoulders. He paused and gulped back at Algernon, unconsciously moving his hair around in front of himself to hide. "H-how's that...?" Perceval asked hopefully, with another shiver of embarrassment.
Algernon thoroughly enjoyed the show so far, but shook his head with a low chuckle. "Now, now,Percy... that's not what I asked for." Moving in, he pushed Perceval's hair from his shoulders, kissing him briefly on the lips before moving lower, nippinging and sucking at Perceval's beautiful, pale neck. His hands trailed over Perceval's body, coming to his knickers, under which his slid his thumbs, slowly dragging them lower and lower onto his hips. Just as they were almost at a revealing spot, however, he halted, taking a step back once more and giving Perceval a playfully stern look. "Now, Percy. Do as told... this is part of a payment, you know."
Perceval inhaled shakily and nodded, keeping his eyes shut as he tried to savor the way Algernon's hands had felt as they moved across him. If only it were Algernon undressing him...for some reason, he had no objections to that. But if he could just imagine... Perceval took another sharp breath and hesitantly moved his hands down to the waistband of his knickers, low on his hips where Algernon had left it, and carefully undid the first button. He lifted his head and opened his eyes slowly to look at Algernon, only to blush all the more. He did owe it to Algernon, and if he liked to watch, in spite of how ridiculous Perceval was sure he looked, then he was happy to do it...for Algernon. He undid the second, the third, and then the final button, and blushing, holding his breath, Perceval slid the knickers down and stepped out of them, moving just a little closer to Algernon in the hopes that he would touch him again. That way, Perceval was certain he wouldn't even feel the cold.
Algernon smirked, moving in a final time and pressing his lips to Perceval's, if only briefly. "Good boy," he commended, still smirking against Percevals lips, before kissing him again, this time harder, deeper. After a moment, however, he pushed Perceval down, so that he was sitting on the edge of the fountain, and stripped of his own clothing before coming down on top of him, pushing him back to lay against the cold marble. Straddling his lap, Algernon met Perceval's eyes, holding up the dagger which he had retained from his clothing and making sure Perceval could see it in the twilight. "This will be the rest of your punishment... one cut for every turn I directed you. Since I gave you directions five times, that's five cuts. Does that sound fair to you, Percy?" Algernon didn't let Perceval respond, however, before pressing against him to kiss his lips, his jaw, his neck, biting softly.
Once he had satisfied himself, Algernon drew back slightly, unsheathing the dagger and pressing the blade to the skin of Perceval's cheek, he applied slight pressure as he drew a line, smiling wickedly to himself as he watched the blood begin to flow. "One," he murmurered, watching a moment before tracing the cut with his tongue, tasting Perceval's blood with relish.
Perceval gasped, barely able to breathe, and whimpered as he felt the cool metal slide across his skin, then the warm blood begin to roll over his cheek. The marble was frigid against his back, but Algernon's body pressing against him made Perceval feel as if his skin were on fire; and then, as he felt Algernon's tongue move across the fresh cut, Perceval couldn't hold back the small cry of pleasure that escaped his lips. "Algernon..." Perceval breathed, opening his eyes partially to watch as Algernon made the next cut.
Pleased with Perceval's response, Algernon rocked his hips down slightly to ellicit another reaction before placing the blade above the first cut, meeting Perceval's eyes drawing a vertical line to cross with the first one, forming an x on Perceval's cheek. Once again licking the wound clean, Algernon placed a kiss on the centre before moving to kiss Perceval's lips. Deepening the kiss, he ran his free hand down Perceval's body, already thinking of what was to come, planning his next three cuts. But for now... drawing back slightly, he smirked, his lips still ghosting Perceval's as he counted, "Two."
Perceval closed his eyes again, longing to feel Algernon’s lips against his once more. The cuts across his cheek stung slightly, he could taste his own blood on his tongue, and yet he didn’t want Algernon to stop. The combination of the pain and pleasure was exquisite, as was the contrast of Algernon’s warmth with the cool white marble. Perceval shivered as Algernon’s hand traced down his body; it seemed to set him on fire, and he dropped one of his hands into the crisp water flowing beside him, gasping at the cold.
Pressing another brief kiss to Perceval's lips, Algernon drew back a little further, licking the blade carefully before moving lower down Perceval's body, placing brief kisses along his neck and chest. After a moment, he drew Perceval's left hand into his own, kissing it softly on the back, then on the palm. Carefully, he put the knife to the spot, drawing a thin line across Perceval's palm. "Three," he murmured, kissing the spot again before tenderly licking the blood away. Glancing up at Perceval, he smirked. "Halfway there, Percy... it's not so bad, is it? You have been awfully quiet..."
“I like it,” Perceval breathed, flushing a darker shade of red and smiling as well as he could for the pain. He carefully flexed his fingers and squirmed slightly at the way the injured skin seemed to pull taught in Algernon’s hand, tearing at the wound and sharpening the sensation of both the cut and Algernon’s skin against his own. If only…Perceval couldn’t keep himself from thinking…if only Algernon would decide he was satisfied enough with the blood-payment to take his real prize. Perceval wanted him desperately, and while it was true, they were over halfway there, Perceval knew he was in need of some stimulation to counterbalance the stinging of the cuts. “Algernon,” He whined needily, opening his eyes to look up at him hopefully, praying that he would understand the request Perceval couldn’t quite put to words.
Algernon smirked, rising back up on his knees and leaning down to kiss Perceval on the lips again. "I'm sorry, Percy... have I been negligent?" he ask against Perceval's lips, doing his best to sound remorseful but still smirking nonetheless. Pressing against Perceval again, he rocked his hips once before sliding his free hand across Perceval's chest, finding a nipple to tease between his fingers. Moving lower, he traced his tongue lightly over the skin of Perceval's abdomen, ocassionally stopping to nip at a spot that caught his attention before coming to a halt at Perceval's waist. "I hope that's been better for you... but still, your dues must be paid, you know." Placing the blade right beneath Perceval's navel, he drew a short vertical line, running a finger down it once he had removed the knife, but stopping before he came to Perceval's erection. "Four. Only one more, now... do you think you can make it, Percy?" He punctuated the sentance by running the back of his hand lightly along Perceval's previously neglected member, once, teasingly, hoping to ellicit a reaction.
Preceval cried out at the sudden stimulation and rolled his hips up against Algernon’s hand desperately. Now that Algernon had touched him, he honestly didn’t know that he could make it, but he nodded weakly nevertheless, his breathing unsteady and hurried and his hands winding into Algernon’s hair. Gasping, Perceval begged, “Don’t stop…please…”
"Very well," Algernon replied with a smirk, moving lower still, situating himself between Perceval's thighs. Spreading Perceval's legs a little wider, he leaned forward and gently ran his tongue along Perceval's erection, insubstantially, twice, before drawing back, knife in hand. Lifting one of Perceval's thighs, he carefully sliced along the inside of his thigh, licking the shallow cut before coming back to kiss Perceval on the lips. "There," he murmured, "you're all paid... except for one thing..." Sheathing his dagger and dropping it amongst his other clothing, he brought his fingers to Perceval's lips, pressing inside his mouth. "You'd better get them nice and wet, Percy... after all, you still owe me interest." To drive his point home, he ground his hips against Perceval's a final time, the smirk never leaving his lips.
The kiss cut off Perceval’s cry of surprise and pain as when Algernon’s mouth moved abruptly from his member, replaced by the blade against his thigh. Perceval kissed back hungrily, until Algernon broke it, and he nodded, watching as Algernon cast the blade aside, and waiting to hear what Algernon had in mind. By interest, Perceval was sure both he and Algernon were to get exactly what they wanted, and he took Algernon’s fingers into his mouth eagerly, sucking and moving his tongue over Algernon’s skin reverently. He did his best to be through, only stopping to cry with delight when Algernon brought their hips together. Clamping his eyes shut, Perceval forced himself to concentrate on his task and untangled a hand from Algernon’s hair to hold his arm gently as his tongue continued to trace over Algernon’s fingers.
Watching Perceval so obediantly suck on his fingers was certainly pleasant, but, finally, Algernon drew his hand back, returning to his position between Perceval's legs. "Be a good boy, now, Percy... I know it's going to hurt a little..." he commanded, fingering Perceval's opening before sliding two fingers in at once, in one swift, smooth motion. Allowing him to adjust for a moment, Algernon hesitated before slowly speading his fingers apart, scissoring them and pumping them in and out of Perceval before adding a third finger. Pressing them a little further, Algernon found the spot he knew would reward him with Perceval completely losing control, and smirked. "There, now... does that feel a little better?"
Perceval squirmed uncomfortably as he adjusted to the stretch, squeezing his eyes shut tightly and tightening the fist he’d left on his chest to distract him. Then, as Algernon adjusted, moving to just the right spot, Perceval cried out in pleasure, nodding his head vigorously in response to Algernon’s question. The hand that was still in Algernon’s hair clutched at him desperately, and Perceval couldn’t help but buck his hips up slightly against Algernon, desperate for more, desperate to feel Algernon inside of him. Almost…only a little longer…if Algernon decided to be nice.
"Good..." Algernon murmured, withdrawing his fingers after a moment with a pleased smirk. Sitting back on his heels, he licked his palms carefully, running his hands over his own erection once before lining himself up and slowly pressing inside Perceval. "Be good, Percy... wouldn't want to fall in, now, would you?" he warned, pulling out slowly before thrusting back in abruptly, hard. "Better hold on... or else you may... get wet." With a smirk, he began to speed up his pace, feeling, after all the buildup, a bit merciful.
Perceval gasped, holding his breath as he felt Algernon press inside of him, and clenched his jaw, waiting for the slow tease that Algernon so enjoyed. However, with the first abrupt movement, Perceval’s free hand immediately darted to grip the edge of the fountain wall on which they were balanced in an effort to steady them both. Surprised and elated, Perceval mewled his appreciation, releasing Algernon so that he could hold on with his other hand as well. He didn’t want it to stop—ever—and the last thing he wanted was to end the overwhelmingly pleasurable sensations by falling in to the icy water below. If he didn’t force himself to hold on now, in a few more seconds he’d be beyond the capability of logical thought; he was safe now, and he couldn’t wait for Algernon to push him to that point.
Finding an even, if fast, pace, Algernon smirked down at Perceval, watching him clutch desperately to the edge of the wall. "That's a good boy," he commended softly, grasping Perceval's legs behind the knee and spreading them farther, hoisting them over his shoulders. Leaning forward, he placed one hand over top of Perceval's, holding on, as well, as the other traced along the inside of Perceval's thigh before finding his erection and fingering it lightly. "Why so quiet, Percy?" he asked with another smirk as he continued to tease, "You must let me know how you're feeling, or I just won't know what to do." Still, he continued his merciless pace, waiting for a response.
Perceval gasped as Algernon’s hand moved over his leg, then cried out when Algernon’s fingers reached his aching erection. He opened his eyes just enough to peer up at Algernon as he moaned softly at the insubstantial touches, longing for more. “Please,” Perceval murmured breathily, “Algernon…” It was so good already that it was quite difficult to think coherently enough to form a sentence, and his speaking was further impaired by heavy breathing. Still, Algernon had asked, and Perceval knew just want he needed. “More, please…”
"Very well," Algernon murmured thickly, stroking more substantially, in time to his thrusts. Leaning forward, he pressed a kiss to Perceval's lips, nipping just enough to draw blood. "Don't keep quiet, now, Percy..." Moving lower, he bit, then sucked at Perceval's neck, continuing his pace, hoping to draw a cry or two.
Perceval responded noisily, unable to contain himself any longer. It was so fast, so good, and Algernon’s every touch, combined with the still stinging cuts was driving Perceval crazy. He cried out again as Algernon’s mouth moved over his neck, even as he continued his relentless pace, and Perceval knew that each stroke brought him closer to the brink. Algernon’s hand was warm against his own on the edge of the fountain wall, and he took a risk—letting go of the wall momentarily—moving his hand quickly to grip Algernon’s as the ecstasy began to overwhelm him. Then Perceval came, gasping Algernon’s name, and dropping his head back against the marble, overcome with bliss, his hands slowly loosening their grip on the fountain wall.
Algernon smirked, watching Perceval lose control before thrusting once more, coming deep inside Perceval. After waiting a moment to catch his breath, he leaned forward and pressed a kiss to Perceval's lips before ever so gently giving him a nudge towards the fountain-- just enough to send him tumbling into the water. Moving into a sitting postion, Algernon smiled innocently down at him. "Surprise, Percy."
Perceval screamed and thrashed in the icy water for a few seconds until his hand found the wall and he pulled himself up, screeching loudly and shivering in the night air. “Algernon!” Perceval gasped, crossing his arms both for warmth and impact as he stepped out of the water and stared down at him angrily, forgetting his nakedness for his anger and cold. “Why would you do that?!” Perceval asked desperately, trying to sound enraged, but coming off more as hurt and whiney.
Algernon rose, too, smirking and pulling Perceval's shivering form into his arms. "Because you're just too cute when you're helpless and pouty, Percy," he replied with a chuckle, placing a kiss on his cheek. "Come now... all the more excuse for a hot bath, right?" Scooping Perceval into his arms, his kissed him again, laughing at his pout. "I'll carry you, so you don't get cold. Come, now, let's go in."
“All right…” Perceval agreed, furrowing his brows and sticking out his lower lip in a pout. He was not pleased…now his hair was wet and messy, he was shivering uncontrollably…but it was hard to be upset with Algernon, after everything. A new garden, a beautiful fountain hidden away in maze…and spectacular sex. “I’m all ready cold…” Perceval whined, curling into a tighter ball in Algernon’s arms and looking up into his eyes pathetically, seeking sympathy.
"There, there, Percy," Algernon soothed, pulling him closer as he began to walk towards the palace. "Please don't hold it against me... you know I love you." Kissing Perceval's ear, he rubbed Perceval's arm, already covered with goosebumps. "I'll warm you up once we're inside, I promise. Don't be sad, now... come on."
Perceval bubbled over with delight at those three words; of course he knew it, but it was always so wonderful to hear! How could he ever be mad at Algernon? He sighed, making a show of gradually allowing himself to forgive, when really he knew he couldn’t have stayed upset anyway. “Well, as long as you make up for it by warming me up…You’re forgiven.” Perceval agreed, speaking in a rather coy manner.
"I promise, I will," Algernon replied, his voice overly solemn even as he grinned. Kissing Perceval softly on the lips, his expression softened slightly. "You know I could never resist you."
